Quite possibly the worst wax Ive ever had. Turned up in the morning on Tuesday and requested a full leg and underarm wax. My hair was long enough (2 weeks growth) despite visiting on holiday so no knowledge of the local area but the salon had decent reviews on Google so I went ahead. A lady called Kim greeted me and said she could do the waxing which would take around 30 minutes which was great as I was in a rush to get back for another arrangement which I had made her aware of. However... The room was ill-prepared with no waxing strips cut up. She also did not wash her hands before beginning or put on gloves which I found off-putting but pushed this to one side and let her get on with it. Lighting was also very bad for a waxing room. During the treatment the wax was getting lower in the pot which meant it was getting hotter and hotter, which I pointed out but she did not seem to understand me and continued as normal which was uncomfortable. At this point more wax should be added, or the temperature turned down. Despite all of this, what I found most peculiar was the order in which I was waxed and how she applied the wax. A patch on my calf, a patch on my upper thigh, a patch on my ankle, then my knee - in that order! She then turned me over onto my front and proceeded to wax the part of my legs in contact with the bed (the parts she missed on my calf) - why she did this after turning me over I have no idea, she also did not hold taught any skin which led to uncomfortable hair removal. The wax application was done with a wooden spatula and the minimal amount of wax was used, because of this it cooled extremely quickly and as she was applying the wax to my skin, due to the cooling, she was actually ripping hairs out when applying the wax! Obviously hair removal is the whole point of waxing, but this meant my hairs were stuck to the wax stick that was placed back into the melter - very unhygenic! An hour later (meant I was late for other plans) she said she had finished. I looked down at my legs and at my underarms and could not believe just how much hair and wax residue was left!!! I asked why she had missed so much, she told me that my skin was sensitive... I have been waxed bellybutton downwards for the last 6 years and have visited some shoddy places but this has got to be the worst, of course if I had a reaction then fine, however you do not assume someone has sensitive skin if it turned red - that is what happens when you wax, especially when the wax is too hot as I had already pointed out. The only explanation I can think of is that Kim is not qualified for waxing and only attempted to carry out my recent as the waxing therapist was not yet at work. As I was leaving I explained that I would not be paying for the service I received as my legs looked no less hairless than they had when I initially turned up. At this point she said that she would fix it if I came back into the room. I declined partly because of being already late but also partly due to principle - why was it not done properly in the first place? I am from England and so regulations on hygiene procedures and training may be different, however I still believe that these things are common sense and to run a business like this is unacceptable. Please avoid for waxing unless you request someone who is actually qualified to do so!

Most horrible embarrasing insulting experience ever in my entire life and im 40. When i realized the gentleman doing my nails was doing it wrong i spoke up.they all got upaet. And the whole staff got upset and was yelling at me that i shouldve stopped him sooner. Which i did as soon as i realized. So instead of fixing problem they created worse problem by yelling and attacking me. Saying i know more than they do. Lol i said if that were true id have a license and be doing them myself. Im on vacation. Not from here and very upset at how i was treated. I paid anyway and left with unfinished nails and hurt and embarrassed and shocked all at the same time. I was so hurt and choking up in the taxi on way nack to my resort..maybe ill try tomorrow to find someone to fix my nails.

Went in for a mani-pedi as well as services for 2 others I brought with me. While the ladies working were friendly, they lacked the skill needed to perform these services. Very expensive as well. ($50 for a manicure!) When I questioned the price based on the quality, I was laughed at and told everything here is expensive. If you are going to charge top dollar make sure you can back that up with quality. My gel nail polish looked horrid, was all over my skin, and bubbled up. They refused to fix. Lasted 4 days. Biggest waste of money ever. Go somewhere that knows what they are doing. They must have paid for their rating because no way they have almost 5 stars!! If I could get a refund I would!

We were in town for a wedding and heard about this salon from the bride herself and such a wonderful day for us. We love pedicure and pedicure and this time we tried one hour massage which is fantastic! Kimly Yolanda Esparenza and John are great massage therapists. The massage price is not too high which is 65 dollars for one hour.(because we have 4 massages at the same time so we have 10% off isnt that great! Manicure Pedicure is about 35 combo with massage! The salon atmosphere is great too we feel like only us in the salon. Wont smell like many salon we visited before that is great. Try this and you wont be disappointed!! highly recommend John if you really like deep tissue.

I went into Allure yesterday June 23. First my expirence was bad because it took forever for them to start and finish. My friends and I booked appointments and were there 2hrs+ and one of my friends didnt have time to get her acrylics painted. Then they over charged me for my nails because they had trouble with my cards which im just now realizing. The lady was also extremely rude about it, insinuating I couldnt pay. Not to mention i cant get this transaction fixed because their phone number does not work. This was the worse expirence especially since I was out of town in vacation.

The minute I walked through the door, I knew I was wasting my time by going there. I called ahead and asked if it was a good time to get a back massage and of course they said come right down. Walking through the door, the staff could not have been less enthused in their greeting. They didnt give me any idea of how long the wait was. I finally just left after a half an hour, not once did anyone come over and say something typical like "well be with you in a moment" or "sorry, were busy (even though they werent)". Ive never myself experienced being so blown off as a customer.

Very disappointed with this salon. When I came in a week ago I was told a 20 minute wait, that was fine until a regular customer came in and immediately sat down and was tended to. I waited 40 minutes and then sat down and in a chair to get my nails done. I was constantly put on pause for them to help the regular customer. All said in done its been a week and my acrylic nails are starting to come off with air bubbles and chips in the bottom. Wish I would get my money back waste of my time in my vacation. It was not the relaxing experience I was looking for.
