I brought in a jacket for cleaning (which has sat in storage for some time), the guy behind the counter (white haired elderly man) warned me that he may not be able to do much on lettering on the arms of the jacket, and I said as long as he can do the rest of it, it will be fine. I came to pick it up, and the same man requested payment upfront, which raised a red flag in my head. Then he brought out the jacket, which looked and smelled exactly the same way it did when I brought it in. I insisted that this is inadequate, and he offered me to take the jacket and ride around in it for a few weeks, and bring it back and he can clean it again for 50% off. He offered to clean it again, and I suggested that Id rather take it somewhere else because I do not feel comfortable with them having such an expensive jacket. He refused to provide a refund, and kept insisting that the jacket "went through the process" and he cant do anything, and stated that he would talk to the owner about a refund after he cleans it again. I politely refused and requested the refund again. This went on and on, and eventually he started raising his voice and using profanity. He continued saying that the jacket went through the process and he wont give me a refund. Eventually, he gave me a cash refund on my credit transaction. I requested a receipt, and the childishness continued when he refused to provide me my receipt (because I like to keep track of my checkbook). I even asked to take a picture of it on my phone, he refused. I asked him to write down the total on a piece of paper, he refused. He just verbalized the total to me. The last thing he said was "take your s*** and get out of my house", and then shouted "dont ever come back here again." I had no intention on coming back to a business that charges you for jobs they didnt do.

I am a long time Lake City resident and being a businessman in the area I try to also support the local businesses. I went by Advance Cleaners today like I have the past few months every 2-3 weeks or so. When I pointed out stains that were still on a sleeve cuff on a recently picked up uniform, I was in for a rude surprise. The coat was a brand new white lab coat and this was its first cleaning. As I pointed it out the elder white haired man at the counter began writing a ticket to clean the jacket when it had just taken it out for its first wear! Instead of offering a return customer a more thorough cleaning. He expected me to pay again? I just picked it up!!! Thats why we take clothing to the dry cleaners (and pay for it) so that it will be cleaned properly. Well he was not pleased when I said no thanks Ill take it elsewhere he turned his back and walked to the back and said do what you want. I guess that cigarette is more important then providing great customer service. The sad thing is they already burnt a hole through a uniform and this was the second chance. Poor customer service, poor job with their services. I was advised this before by other locals but I guess thats what I get for giving a place with an already bad reputation a chance.

DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANER! Very poor service and abysmal quality. New to area and didnt know better. They not only did not have my order done when promised but also completely destroyed an expensive designer shirt. Offered to provide complimentary dry cleaning for future items but didnt want to give them an opportunity to ruin additional costly clothing. STAY AWAY! UPDATE! Not only did they totally ruin this expensive designer shirt, but they also washed another designer silk shirt that was supposed to be dry cleaned and shrunk it! Beware!!!
