We had a problem with our gas hot water tank. We called dependable plumbing, they said they were able to fix it. Came out, he told me that we would have to call Whirlpool for them to fix it. Charged me 105 just to come out and tell me that..When on the phone, they said they could fix it. So then my landlord called Steve back, the technician that came out, said that he was able to order the part and he would install it. (Which seemed weird, cuz thats not what he told me) that was Wednesday..The following Tuesday morning, 9am, he came and installed the part, said it was all fixed. There was a gas smell, he told me that its going to smell like that since he just fixed it, it would air out...I left for work at 930am, not thinking anything of it..I dont know anything about this stuff... Came home after work at 3pm, to my house, full of gas! I ran in, let my dogs outside, called Steve, he told me to call the city...City guys came out, shut the gas off, gas fumes was a 4, which they said I was extremely lucky it didnt blow up, they found the problem...Steve neglected to check to see if there were any leaks, rushed the whole time, he didnt crimp down the gas line. The city men just pulled the line right out! Had to call Steve again, he then came out the next day (today) and fixed the problem.. I told him he couldve killed my daughter and I, he proceeded to say it wasnt his fault even after I showed him it clearly was. Never said sorry. Never tried giving me or the landlord a refund. Never heard anything from his boss or the owner. I advise everyone to look elsewhere! They could have KILLED us! The city guys said it was so strong in the house if I switched on a light switch, we would have died...Thats scary. Especially since Steve, just didnt care! and its not the fact that he didnt know what he was doing, cuz he did fix it..Its the fact that he just didnt care enough to recheck his work!

Called after hours regarding an emergency...water backing up in the house. Talked to Christian, he explained that a plumber that was on call would be calling me to arrange a time to assess the problem. Almost two hours later no call. Decided to call back and reschedule for in the morning. Talked to Tyree. He informed me that no one was going to be coming out because it wasnt during business hours. I asked if they still took emergency and after hour calls, because the previous gentleman said otherwise. Didnt like getting conflicting information especially when we were in need of getting someone out to the house immediately. Lets just say I wont be calling them in the morning for an appointment. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Had to call Dependable Plumbing to come fix a leaky faucet. Brad came and within just a few minutes had the problem diagnosed. whenever I have to call them they always send Brad and he is knowledgeable and professional. Glad they are in Lake City for me to call.

These guys are Awesome! I called to have a leak fixed in the kitchen and within an hour Steven (nice guy) was here and took him no time at all.Not to mention he had everything he needed to get the job done and we can have fresh water to drink again !!!!
