We were getting a new tailgate put on and my husband made sure to let them know exactly what needed to be done. We have a camera installed in the tailgate and power locking. We dropped the truck off on a Monday and were told it would be done on Thursday it was not done. They told us it would be done on the following Monday, it wasnt ready. Finally I went to pick it up on Tuesday after a couple of phone calls and I had a message from John that the car would be ready after 4pm. I dropped off my rental car and was getting a ride over from Enterprise at 4:30pm and as I got out of the car the very nice woman working up front told me to stop the driver because all the work was not done on the vehicle. John , whom had left the message left the premises to apparently get the part. He didnt call me to let me know the final part for our power locks were not in. I jumped back in the car and headed back to the rental company to rent another car. On Wednesday , I went to pick up the truck and noticed that they didnt put the right handle on with a back up camera, also the emblems were not placed where they should be. At this point there is NO excuse why after he was told by my husband exactly what was being replaced for the tailgate for this to be incorrect. John then told me when he ordered through the VIN number thats what he got. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. There has been very little communication and NO accountability from John about any of this. The only people I can see who are actually doing their job is the lovely lady up front and techs. We got the work done her since we are using our insurance. It is now being finished correctly after all this back and forth. I made sure to call our insurance company to let them know about our terrible experience so hopefully no one else will have this issue.

I would like to add to my review about Gerber Collision. First, I would like to give credit to Gerber collision corporate for having someone call me regarding this issue. I must say it is nice to see a big corporation paying attention to the small guy. Unfortunately I still have some concerns with the Lakeland office. I received a call from a gentleman a week later from the Lakeland location stating that corporate asked him to call me. He stated that there was no manager at this location at the current time. I informed him that the call center was going to email someone and have them get in touch with me. He said that the manager was no longer employed there and that corporate was sending emails to his phone that he no longer has. It seems that one location maybe better than another. I would probably never deal with the Lakeland location but I WOULD deal with Gerber. Not only have I had a great experience with Mike in Plant City but also with the manager there. Unfortunately I have forgot her name to give her credit. She has contacted me several times to continously give me updates on my vehicle. She also was very knowledgeable about the repairs. I WOULD also use another location for Gerber if need be seeing how they have handled my complaint. Thanks Gerber. . corporate

I had company car repair here the repair was good the problem is when they put my driver left side headlight on it work until I got it. I called them the next day as the head light was out I spoke to a lady and ask her if they touch it she said no. I took it to Mcgees and they told me it was missing a bolt and wire was pinched they fixed it I called the manager and he told me no way did his repair do that. Just blows my mind that a manager would take zero responsibility for the work but offer to pay the bill. I will not be going back again and its a brand new car so its not like anyone else has mess with it.

I would not recommend their services. They have broken their scheduled appointments with me three times in one week for one reason or another. Their Customer Service Reps were very unprofessional and could not give me a straight answer as to why they needed to cancel every appointment I made with them. Overall, they have given the impression that they are unorganized and unprepared as a company. (Summary) After one week I still dont have a dang windshield. I need to go to McDonalds a get a milkshake to calm down Im so mad.
