Got price for a repaint and estimator tried to rip me off for over one thousand, she must think I live under a rock. I asked for one of the low cost job as my auto has 210,000 miles. I decided to get other prices got a paint price from a reputable auto body shop they quoted $600 complete. Another from Econo one third the price. I have a Mazda with little to no damage Lady estimator at maaco tells me unless they prep car they would not paint car. That would mean that all the prices they advertise are misleading because you would have to prep every single car that comes in there. You do not go to Maaco for a paint job unless the car needs a repaint and they advertise $299 and up. I am going to other paint shops to see how they rate. I will also contact the consumer fraud bureau and BBB to see how much they really charge. Do not go to Maaco Ocala there are other more trust worthy places.

Called for a price to shoot a Ranger 2wd pickup. I told them I would totally prep it sanding, filling ready to shoot. I was told they have a truck fee because my truck will use more paint than a car. They are not painting the inside of the bed and linear feet of this truck is less than a buick lesabre or other full size car that does not pay this fee. I was told I can choose the $299 paint job. And if I prep it I will save a good bit. She said if I go with the $299 paint job it will cost me $500 What!! I asked how a $299 paint job with me totally prepping for paint where all they do is tape and shoot goes from $299 to $500 and she stuttered and started saying well we have to do ummm and then we ummmm. So the bottom line here is Ummmmm better be sure your paint special is more special for you then them!

So i brought my 1988 fiero gt in for a complete paint job, it took them one week exactly and it came out looking like a brand new car they more then impressed me with the job they had done, the staff was very nice and for the price your you really cant beat it. I will definitely be recommending them 5 stars!

Macco uses there own company paint and they dont buff or even put on a clear coat. If you are repainting an old farm tractor that you want to look good to haul the pigs to the county fair, then macco is your best choice. Otherwise spend your hard earned money somewere else.

Took car to get a paint job. They said two weeks to paint. So three months and four days later we got our car back. Paint job was ok. But not worth what I payed for.
