This auto body repair shop touts itself as a high class establishment but is actually only a low-mid end garage/shop that can fix high end vehicles. It is a shame really, because the workers actually perform excellent work so they belong at a high class establishment, not this garage. After analysing their operations it becomes clear that they lack the proper funding to be a high class establishment. This causes delays that they refuse to take responsibility for (blaming delays on the lack of timeliness of auto insurance payments instead), which damages customer service and, in many cases, literally doubles the time it takes to repair your vehicle. With the proper funding and class, they wouldnt have these types of issues. Vehicles sit and incur fees for many days as they wait for insurance payments. Recently, I ended up having a dent in my rear right fender. From the beginning, I triple checked with Dayas to make sure they had all of the required parts for the repair before they started. I told them I certainly couldnt be without my car for a full month, so the manager sent me an email saying it would take only 5-7 days plus insurance delays to repair my vehicle so I would give him the go-ahead. The insurance adjuster ended up delaying the project by 1 additional week. However, 30 days later they estimated another week until it would be ready for pick-up as they hadnt received the final check from my insurance company yet. I communicated with them multiple times that there was a hard stop at 30 days. Vehicles are held hostage until final payment is received. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle they refused to turn it over to me because, although they had guarantees from the insurance company that payment had been sent and a paper that gives them my authority to bill the insurance company for remaining expenses, they hadnt yet received the payment. Additionally, they do not accept credit or debit cards, another indicator of improper funding for a high class establishment. I was required to go visit my bank to withdraw roughly $1,900 in cash for them to release my vehicle to me on time. Lies are lies, proper funding and class would likely have allowed their customer service and timeliness to be accurate. Also, the bumper scratch and panel repair ended up costing over $7.5k.

DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I wish I woudve read some of the bad reviews before taking my 2007 Acura TL for an estimate for an insurance claim after my wife was rear ended. After 2 weeks and calling numerous times, still no estimate, and I found they were ordering parts already, and no one gave an estimate for repairs or confirm to repair it. The damage came out to total the car, and now Dayas wants to charge restocking fees. Really? For an estimate? This car was considered totaled by the insurance company. I went to Dayas and spoke with Ed and signed the paper to release the vehicle and removed my belongings from the vehicle on Feb. 12th. On Feb 19th, I confirmed verbally with Ed AGAIN to release the vehicle since Geico was still having issues picking it up. Having a cellphone, I have records of all these calls. He says "ok", and tells Debbie, the receptionist, its ok while in on the phone. It is now March 13th, and Dayas will not let go of the vehicle to Geico without being paid for feeds up until now. They have been telling the auto auction who comes to get the vehicle, AND the insurance adjuster, that I have not released the vehicle. Ed at Dayas has lied to me and the adjuster for weeks to build up storage fees, and potentially keep the vehicle for profit. These types of places are horrible and unethical. Its a shame they are the only Tesla certified repair shop here too. Im still fighting with Ed at Dayas and his lies, and the insurance company, to get the vehicle released with fees only up to the day it was signed to be released. Ed refuses release it and wants money for the weeks hes been telling lies to the insurance adjuster and myself. I wound up asking my lawyer for help. My lawyer made calls to help me straighten this out. They used the words "unethical" and "rude" when trying to deal with Ed an Dayas. They dont even deserve one star in my opinion.

While my car was at Dayas, a $1500 check was stolen and cashed from an old checkbook that I unknowingly left in the glove compartment. When I called Dayas they were dismissive of my complaint and did nothing to investigate who stole the check. Luckily, the bank found the signature fraudulent and refunded the money. The repair on my car took twice as long as it was estimated to take. Dayas said it would be complete in about 4 weeks. However at the 4 week mark, I was called and told that there was a part that was backordered and it would take another 4 weeks. I expressed concern that they waited 4 weeks to order the part and the company representative (Kris) gave me an attitude and just said that I had to wait. I ended up having to pay for a rental car for 4 weeks out of my pocket because of this delay. I felt the customer service at the place was subpar from the people who answered the phone when providing updates and there was an overall lack of communication. My car took 8 weeks to repair for a sideswipe. I think this is unacceptable.

Horrible experience! I have taken 4 luxury cars there over the years, but this past experience was the last! Not only was the work shoddy, but they tore the headliner in my husbands car, and failed to put the wiring back together to the interior light panel, so none of the interior lights are working. The attitude of the staff was also horrendous. They " blew us off" for several months after a botched paint job, and when they finally called us back to fix it, took 10 days to paint the hood and roof of the car! The worst was a comment made to my husband as he picked up the car, that "now you can go sell your car"- implying that we wanted the car re-painted only to sell it! We take pride in taking good care of our cars...now we have a ripped interior thanks to Dayas and their crappy work and attitude.

Would not consider it. I have custom paint requirements, which they ignored (though I had the actual operator / owners attention on the matter the entire time). Daya himself wouldnt correct the issue, yelled at me over the phone, and hung up?! Moreover, I later came to find out that the headlights installed were aftermarket due to the fogging and water retention issues they would later exhibit. When addressing this with them, they claimed they always put aftermarket parts vs. official dealer OEM parts?? I asked them why they charged the insurance company for OEM parts and pocketed the difference and they hung-up (this was the third time).

Dayas did an excellent job when my Tesla model S took a hit to the drivers door. Their staff is top notch and did an excellent job dealing with the other (at fault) drivers nasty insurance company and their parts department had the required parts pre ordered and waiting when the time came to do the repair. The facility is clean and the staff seal your cars interior with plastic if you have broken glass so no dust gets into your interior. If you have a high end car Dayas is really the place you need to take it if you are in need of repairs. There is no substitute. ETA: They will keep your electric car plugged in if you have a full electric.
