These people have some type of entitlement thinking or that they are above everyone else. Received a call 10-11-10 approx. 12:00 from Shawna stating the reservation we made on a Wednesday (10-6-10) to have a birthday party on Sunday 10-17-10 was not available (this is AFTER we put a deposit down and had on paper our reservation date). Nobody volunteered to host it, this is not my problem. Besides Shawna very snooty and rude, apparently their protocol for birthdays is they put the list up of upcoming parties and instructors volunteer for them (AFTER you arrange the date and apply the DEPOSIT). This makes no sense, they should not reserve a date if they have no organization skills nor know how to run a business . I sent out the invites for my daughters 5th birthday party, to her class, and many friends and family on Friday (2 days after the party was reserved). They call me 5 days later and less than a week before the party that they have nobody to host it? You should not give people a reservation date without knowing if someone can host! Shawnas excuse was that the instructors had other plans. This is asinine!!! Shawna was extremely rude and told me "well guess you will have to figure something else out" in a very condescending manner, and talking to me as if it were MY fault. Very rude person! I will report to the BBB and as many sites as possible for this lack of professionalism and etiquette. This blows my mind away at the lack of respect this school has for people and their families....BEWARE!. Do not book a birthday party at this place! How rude and very bad business practice! I will be going up there this afternoon when they open and will repost my experience once I talk to whomever is in charge. So far I have told everyone of my friends who were going to have their childrens parties there as well and will continue to speak about this.

This has been the best choice for my daughter! We were at a school where my daughter said she wasnt feeling challanged, so we made the switch to Contempo. Everyone is beyound nice, the teachers are amazing and very positive, Office staff is just a greatest. Contempo also is very well organized. I know that doesnt seem like much, but after coming from a much smaller stuido that was totally unorganized I was impressed. The things my daughter learned in one week far surpassed anything she learned in 3 years at the other place. I love that my daughter is happy here, and that the teachers are always pushing her to do her best. I couldnt say enough things to describe how amazing Contempo is. I would suggest it to everyone who is looking to start their child in dance.

We have been with Contempo for three years and my daughters are really enjoying their time there. This year, I have two girls in four different classes and they have great teachers who have created a very positive environment. The best thing about Contempo is that they understand that this may be one of many activities that these kids are involved in, they have a wide range of classes available for every level, the recital is once a year and I have found that they keep the costume costs to very reasonable amounts. Girls and boys who do want a more intense experience can join their dance teams. If you are looking for an extremely affordable and positive dance experience for your child, I highly recommend Contempo.
