I had the privilege of having my wedding at the Hip Room. The place is absolutely stunning and well cared for. The managers - Rita and Matt were friendly and extra helpful with everything. I would definitely recommend this place for a wedding venue! It was a great deal in price. A few cons but no deal breakers: • Sometimes you cant get through to anyone when you call the office - which I understand because its and active dance studio. Just get be managers cell numbers. • The venue is located on the second floor so getting a tables/chairs vendor that didnt charge an arm and a leg to deliver to the second floor was tough but we found a company so its possible. We used West Coast Rentals (Avoid Brandon Rentals!) • Street Parking was limited - not a huge issue but a little rough on the older guests

I give the Hip Room 10 stars! My two boys take Matthews Hip Hop class and its amazing what they have learned so far including coordination, attention to detail, as well as dance. I am always amazed to see how they can keep a room full of young children engaged and how much they retain from these classes as well. My boys have been involved in other activities and I must say the connection that these instructors have with the children is unbelievable. If you are considering the Hip Room Rita and Matthew are always so kind and welcoming, I suggest you stop by and take a look at this beautiful dance studio and talelented staff. They offer a wide variety of classes on every level which other members have spoken highly of. No doubt the Hip Room stands out from the rest!

WOW!! Great staff, ambiance, and vibe!!! Matt and Rita bring years experience and talent to make a great dance to learn ballroom, latin, and social dance in group and individual sessions. We have been dancing here since the very beginning and things are just getting better. The great dance floors and sound system augment the excellent quality and skills of the professional instructors. The addition of cutting edge fitness and dance classes offer something for everyone of any age. The staff organizes practice parties in the beautiful ballroom and dance out-trips to local venues! Come dance with NO JUDGEMENT HERE!!!

The best fitness classes are here! If you were a dancer growing up or just like to have fun while you work out, you have to try The Hip Rooms fitness classes. I loved them when they were previously at Soul Rooster, but the new studio is even better. There is plenty of space to move around, but the exposed brick gives the room a comfortable feel. I cant wait to try the adult jazz and ballet classes. However, the Pound / Cardio Dance combo on Saturday morning is my favorite. I burned over 600 calories while having fun in just these 2 classes this weekend. Im bringing all of my friends here for sure.

The owners and instructors are fantastic. The variety they offer is awesome for all ages and dance experience. I brought my 15 yr old daughter and she invited 2 more friends. The owners put their heart and soul into their business. And their prices are so reasonable. The Hip Hop Room has been the hilight of my daughters summer vacation. Thank you so much Rita, Matt and Angel. You make us feel like family. Cant wait to come back each week. You make my two left feet want to dance.

First things first- you wont find a more beautiful facility anywhere in Tampa! Love the ballet class for adults. The instructor is friendly and welcoming.
