I agree with the other two reviews.. The staff are very rude and disrespectful!! This company only cares for the older girls dancing, not the younger ones(which was the reason I was there). I have 13 and a half years of experience, and never would imagine having to deal with such unprofessional staff with my 4 year olds dance studio! This is the time when a studio needs to instill the techniques of dance while having fun, instead, the teacher looks like its a chore she has to be there!! This is my daughters first year of dance, and she *usually*loves to dance, but because of this studio and teacher, she cries to go. If they are not interested in teaching the younger children, they should just stick to the older ones- because they are a disservice to these eager children. When signing up~I was only interested in ballet class, but they force you to take both-(tap and ballet. )MORE MONEY for them perhaps! My daughters teacher missed multiple classes, and the subs included: the secretary at the front, other teachers, or cancelled class all together, We pay for the month, and yet they don’t reimburse your money for cancelled classes. Photo day was during class practice-so again, no class. Ticket sales for recital were during my daughters class, yet again another cancelled class. Not to mention the days cancelled because her teacher was busy with her own personal issues. (mind you, class is only once a week). Class fee:$45/monthly. Recital fee:$35. Recital Outfit:$75. Recital Tickets per person: $15. **Needed(by teacher discretion):brand new tan tights$8. Tan tap shoes: $40. …(the only fees that were discussed prior to signing up was the monthly fee, and the recital costume.) Everything else has come up within the last month of dance class!!! Also- all these girls are 4 years old, you would think they would learn routines for a recital months prior to the BIG day, but instead they literally learn the dance the month before. ** Its very discouraging as a parent when you see all of this nonsense going on and all these unhappy parents!! I signed my daughter up for fun,..which obviously she’s not having, I give the studio credit-because it is very beautiful inside, but they are very unorganized!! and I would like to add again,,,VERY RUDE!!!! if you are like me, a concerned and involved mother, you want the best for your child ..and this studio is NOT THAT!!!! its unfortunate, but true. Whatever happened to...**The Children Come First??**

We absolutely love DEA. The facility is stunning .The instructors are so hands on with the students (from what Ive observed ) and always are so encouraging to my daughter . Theyre affordable and around the exact same price as other studios we have been to in the area . Truly is a great place !

There must be a competitor posting bad reviews because Dance Extreme Academy is absolutely awesome. I cant see anyone not liking what the do for the kids. I would highly recommend Dance Extreme to anyone looking for a top notch dance studio!

We recently moved to the area and found this diamond of a studio in New Port Richey. Our daughter loves going and we are very pleased with how well she is doing and adapting to her new instructors. I would highly recommend Dance Extreme!
