After two good experiences with A Auto Tech in the past 5 years, for which we went through our insurance, we took our car in for out-of-pocket body work and had a terrible experience. Wed made a particularly bad scratch on the car, and decided to go ahead and take care of all the little dings and scuffs that had accumulated over the 4 years weve owned the car, along with the one huge scratch. We were greeted with the same courtesy that wed experienced in the past, and the owner walked with us around the car, making note of everything that needed to be fixed. We were given our estimate (illegible except for the total amount which made my heart skip a beat). We left reconciling the "sticker shock" with the thought that our car would look as good as new. That was as good as things got.. The experience went downhill from there. Twice, our car was not ready when we were told it would be. (This had been the case in the past, but not twice. It was ready the day after we were originally told...no big deal) On the second day, when we arrive to pick up the car, we had to wait over an hour only to be given the keys to a car that did not have all the work done.... and... the brake lights were no longer working. We left the car there and followed up by phone the next business day. We got an apology for the inconvenience and were told the car would be ready that afternoon. This seemed strange, since it had taken an entire week for the work that had been done... how could the rest be done in one day?... Well, it wasnt... can you say TOUCH UP PAINT?... as in "the dings are still there but now they have the same pretty color as the rest of the car." We were told this additonal work was not part of the (illegible) estimate. My bad for not questioning the estimate. After all, hed written it up as we walked around the car and pointed out all the dings and scuffs, and wed had two decent experiences in the past. Bottom line, they would not have done this if our insurance was paying for the work. To add insult on top of injury, we were told the brake light bulbs had gone out and theyd "gone ahead and replaced them for us". HELLO... Who would believe this?!... my sensor light was not on before I took the car in... too much of a coincidence that both brake lights would blow out while in the shop.... disconnected for work to be done and then not reconnected I would believe... but "blown out"... no way. After a week of rental car payments and several more days of inconveniencing family members for transportation, not to mention a big hole in our bank account... we had had enough... we took our car with the big scratch taken care of, a nice looking bumper, and nicely colored dings and some not-so-minute scratches all around, and left... NEVER to return again.

In April I was in an auto accident and I went through Geico to find AAuto Tech. Upon walking through the damage to my car with Luis, the shop manager, I was told that the work would take 2-3 weeks in order to get all the "new" parts and fix my car. After 3 weeks I followed up on a Monday to find out the status of the repairs on my vehicle. I was told by Freddy and Luis that my vehicle would be ready to go that Friday. I was told my vehicle was "being painted". So late Friday afternoon I make the trip to AAuto Tech to pick up my car. Needless to say it is not ready and they still didnt have all the necessary parts. I am told that it would be ready by Wednesday of the next week. That day also comes and goes. NOT READY YET. I finally receive my car back after 2 months!!!!! To my dismay my check engine light is now on, my dashboard is cracked in half, and I am getting water inside of my car from the poor workmanship on my car. After fighting with AAuto Tech they agree that they had broken my dashboard while they were fixing my car. It took them another month to fix the dashboard and stop the water from coming into my car. They told me that the check engine light is not their fault and that they would not be able repair it. Finally, I get my car back and I think that all will be well with it. To my dismay I find out that when they took apart my dashboard and screwed up some electrical components. Therefore, my windshield wipers no longer worked, my sunroof didn’t work, my speakers were shorting out, and my lights inside the car didn’t work!!!! Every time I got my car back there was more stuff wrong with it then was fixed. I had scratches all over my leather interior and window tints from them attempting to complete the work. NONE of the parts were new like I was told they were going to be. Hands down the worst service I had ever received in my life. Needless to say the problems from the water damage and/or workmanship piled up to the point where I had to get rid of the car and get a new one. I will never go back to AAuto Tech or recommend my worst enemy to go there. Stay away.

Called to see if I could email some pictures for a ruff estimate of the repair cost of one of our company vehicles, was then told that they were not allowed to give out email addresses. I was then put on hold to talk to a manager after waiting for awhile I decided to hang up and call back. The same women answered the phone as before, and again I clearly stated that all I wanted was a ruff estimate and just and email to send the pics. After asking to speak to anyone who could help me, I was told that nobody was available and should leave a message. If first impressions are any indication of the quality of work this company is capable of, I wouldnt trust them to paint a finger nail.

I recently was involved in a motor vehicle accident with significant damage to my drivers side door. Deel Volvo sent my car to A Auto Tech for repairs. It was my first experience with them. I didnt know what to expect. They were the consummate professionals. They were compassionate and friendly. I enjoyed dealing with them over the telephone and in person. They made a potentially horrible situation better. As far as the quality of their work it is second to none. I would recommend them and their staff to anyone in need of their services in a NY minute. They are the best. Thank you.

Im really happy with the service offered at A Auto Tech. It seems to me that they are the type of business that over delivers on the customers expectations. Its really difficult to find a place in Miami, of all places, that offers not only skilled maintenance but wonderful customer service as well. Every member of their staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional. If youre looking for any type of out of warranty service, collision repair, or general maintenance I would look no further than A Auto Tech.
