I made an internet appointment for an alignment at 8pm 5/11/16. When I went there and told them I had an appointment for alignment they looked at me like I was crazy, the employee replied "well your going to be here past 10pm". So I decided to reschedule for the next morning 8am. I asked them if they are still going to honor the same price with $74.99 as advertise on the there OWN website, They said "no problem". So I go back there at 8am this morning and they tell me I dont have an appointment but we will still get you in. They give me the work order and its they tried to charge me $100+, I told them that the price was suppose to be $74.99 I even asked the employee yesterday about it, they fixed the price no problem. I asked them how long in would be, "30 mins" so I wait there for a hr and decide to go to Starbucks down the street. 2 hrs pass, ( mind you I have my 8 month daughter during all this), I see my car setting outside the shop so I FIGURE its done. As I walk in they replied "we were just going to call you" they said that alignment machine is down. They kept insisting that I take my keys, and come back tomorrow!!! (Like they didnt want to do the work), they just didnt come out and say it!!! I asked them was the machine going to be working today? They replied yes. I waited 20 more mins and the machine was up and running so they said I was next in line.. the manager that wasnt even helping me said "that alignment was all messed up".. (How could I be next if I was there FIRST???) I said still wanted the work done. So I took a Uber home because I couldnt wait around any longer with an 8 month old. As im leaving i notice that they have the alignment machine on another car! They call me around 11am and tell me it will be an extra $56 because the alignment was so off. At this point I said "ok do it". So I get a call from them around 1:30 saying the machine is down again. So I take an Uber back to Pep boys to pick up my car they didnt say anything to me just handed me my key Again i look in the shop and they have the alignment machine on another car!!!!, at this point Im furious. Either one of to things happened, they youre incapable of doing the alignment or they didnt want to do the alignment! It took it to my regular mechanic today at 2pm and theyre already done at 4pm and there were two cars ahead of me! NEVER AGAIN DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!OR WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I called this location a few days back to get a quote for a clutch replacement on a 2004 Honda. The gentleman who answered the phone (called himself Jose) was eager to let me know he was in the middle of a sale and didnt want to lose it. After not responding to that, he started looking up the service. He couldnt find the service. He found the part. Quotes me for the part. I mention that doesnt matter, as it needs to be replaced, so labor is a factor. He goes back into the computer. He cant find the service. Almost calls his manager, then finds it: $1,400+ for the service. I thanked him and promptly hung up, as thats the price a brand new car. Given what I know about this area, I called up a Pep Boys in Broward. They knew the part, the service, and found it in seconds. $687 was the quote. Ill be taking my car to Broward instead tomorrow. Im sure this is not a bad establishment to do minor work like oil changes, tire rotation and installation, etc. However, Id avoid it for anything more than that, as they obviously have no idea what they are doing.

Youre better working on your own car than going here. I went in with my grandmother to get new tires which doesnt normally take long but we waited over an hour for them to move my car into the work area on a day that wasnt busy that much. After they took my car in, I was notified that I needed new rotors for my car on every tire plus new front brakes and that one rotor had cracked. He totaled it up to over $600 which is outrageous. I went to autozone and bought the parts myself including front brakes. It all came out to $188. After getting my car home and beginning the process on the back, I found out that my rotors were actually fine. Both were. Now as for the front Im unsure because the lugs were tightened to a point I cant get them off but I dont trust nothing from them. Im not sure if this is common amongst them but that was a slimy business move and if I could give them 0 stars, I would

I went once for that place and I will not be coming back ... I wanted to change the 4 dampers and I called to have an appointment for the other day for 8:30 am, I arrived punctual and the manager told me at midday I had the Car, it turns out that it waits until 1:00 pm and only had the 2 front shocks, I told the manager that I stepped and he said I fixed that problem, wait 30 minutes and they forgot me completely, I returned Where the manager and with attitude told me: I told you it would take time, what I did not understand is that it was 3:00 pm and nothing that I put the other 2 shocks, at 4:00 pm I said Please I wanted to go because I had not eaten anything since 8:30 am and I was annoyed, I really do not know how that man is a manager and since those employees are so grocerous, I do not go back to that place anymore .. the car got it At 5:00 pm and with faults ..

After going to Gus Machado Ford on US1 and they stole/emptied the full tank of gas from my Expedition in 2011 I started taking my truck to this Pep Boys Auto location and I have NEVER regretted that decision. They have never failed me and have always repaired or replaced parts to the utmost standard and professionalism. I dont care how long I have to stand in line and wait. Its worth it. These people, in my opinion, are the freaking best. Especially Clifford at the counter and Jeff the master machanic. Gus Machado Ford on US1 did an oil change on my neighbors duly and did not replace the oil. The engine locked up and that was the end of their truck and Gus Machado refused to accept responsibility. The same location that stole the gas from my gas tank and called me a liar. This Pep Boys Auto location is the best ever. I recommend this location and the staff.

Great Service at a Great Price! I took my BMW here after the dealer quoted me a very high price. I was assisted by service advisor, Rey. He is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice and a great price, and more importantly delivered on everything promised. I got new brake pads, rotors replaced, oil change/service, and lights repaired for a fraction of the price I was quoted at the BMW dealership. The work was done in the time promised, and Rey and the mechanic, Ramel were extremely professional and helpful. Rey is very knowledgeable and truly helped me understand the nature of the repairs needed. He took me over and showed me the brakes and why they needed to be replaced. Its refreshing to come across competent and honest folks like this. I would highly recommend this PEP Boys. I will be coming back whenever I need future service on my BMW.
