· I came to Nail Fever on 147th and US1 the day before a trip to DC. I arrived at 8:30 am before ppening and they opened early and asked me in which I thought was so nice. I was alone with my choice of several employees there. After an amazing manicure with a woman, for some reason I was switched for my pedicure to a young 20 something guy. He did not do my cuticles, did not pumice the soles of my feet (but did scrub the crap out of my ankle bone?). He seemdd nervous and ai asked him twuce if he was new. I felt likw hjs furst pedicure. I asked several times to switch back or to someone else and was told they couldnt but to speak to the owner after. I spoke to the owner and he was very kind and offered to fix my pedicure. I explained I was leaving to the airport in 2 hours and didnt have time and would not be back for 2 weeks. He said,"Okay pay now for this one and when you get back remind me and I will take care of your next one" Well, shouldve gotten it in writing. Today I was yelled at and treated like a criminal in front of all the other patrons and my daughters. I sat there getting my cuticles cut and foot scrubbed with pumice (he literally refused to do any other part of the pedicure because he says that is all I was missing from my last one) I am getting dirty stares from him. I am in shock that after years of coming here and actually paying for a horrible pedicure last visit with tip, I am treated like a criminal when I was specifically told to come in and he would take care of my next pedi. He waited until my feet were in the water to start yelling at me. I am so upset and humiliated. He went so far as to refuse me the other services (mani hair) that I was paying for and told me to get out. Very hurtful after years of patronage from myself and many family members. It was like Jekyll and Hyde. We are honest people who always over tip. I would have rather he refused the comp from the get go than handle it the way he did. I have always loved their work and never had such an isdye, but this was a doozy. Lesson learned, DONT ever pay for bad service and DONT ever trust a persons word when it comes to business. People nowadays have no integrity when it comes to making a buck. Very unfortunate, could have been handled much better.

Never going back again. The lady was on her phone the entire time and had to correct her 3 times to paint my whole nail. As I was getting my nails done, a co-worker broke neon pink nail polish all over my leather purse, barely took off it off just smeared it, the nail polish. The lady doing my nails was just concerned with me not moving and her response to me saying that it wasnt off completely was that "at least it was on the bottom so no one can see it." Still had to pay full price for the manicure. I returned to speak to a manager 2 seconds after leaving and he brushed me off because other customers were beginning to over hear what was going on. The lady then handed me the acetone to clean my purse while just finishing my manicure so that if the acetone ruined my purse then itd be my fault. Thankfully it came off, but the way they run their business with no regards to customer property really left a nasty taste in my mouth.

The salon is nice in general and good prices but two main problems: 1) The gel French manicure lasted only for two days (instead of 2 weeks), then some of my nails peeled off and i had to go back and ask them to fix it all over. They remembered me so they did it again without charging me, but after 2 days i had the same problem again. This means bad quality materials. 2) Gossiping behaviour from specific employers in a foreign language that they thought that I couldnt understand. Not really good customer service.

Had a very bad experience with the gel manicure. The nail polish is so watered down that two of my nails completely peeled within days. I was told it would last three weeks and Im not even on week 2, and this is the terrible job Im stuck with. I feel ripped off. Ill never go back and good luck to those that do pay for this cheap and unsightly job. Horrible!!!!! The ladies are kind of rude, depending who you get. They need better quality materials.

Poor quality work. My nails looked better going in for my fill than they did when I left. Called the manager who stated for me to text his cell phone of my nails promising to correct the issue but did not have another 1 1/2 hours of my day to give again. Slow and worthless work. After sending the text never received a response from the manager. Poor service and no concern for retention of customers. I WILL NEVER RETURN !

My fave to go to for mani & pedi. Truly has a spa feel of relaxation in spite of the steady traffic of customers; the massage chairs are the ultimate! The staff is professional & courteous. Overall a very clean, efficient & well run business with a classy, sophisticated atmosphere .

Had a horrible experience. Did gel white tip. I asked for the way I liked it. And she told me no. She Cant Do it. They Charge me before they worked on me. They over price me. And less than a week. My nails started rising. Never again.

omg the best pedicure and they give you free wine. they do amazing job and Ana that work there was awesome. I recommend this place to everybody and get ana she does a great job. Im so relax and I cant wait to go againg.

Unfortunately the management and staff are unorganized and rude. The nail technicians are questionable and are the sanitary conditions. Im lucky I didnt get nail fungus and I will never go back to this place again.

I went to do a pedicure and gel manicure, they charged me $52.00 this are being the most expensive gel i never had in my life and my daughter get acrylics for the same price, i ended paying 105.00 ...

There is roaches in this salon and a rude receptionist and rude nail techs that act like they are doing u a favor! The only one I like is thai. He is great.
