I have never been treated so rudely in my life in any hair salon. The operator was overbooked. The receptionist told me to wait in the waiting area. She said go put on a smock and the operator will mix your color. The operator put my color on in the waiting area while some other (more important customer) was at her station. She left me there and never even checked my color. Then a shampoo girl came and shampooed my hair. Then I went to the operators station and she basically dried my hair. She used no styling products and did not style my hair by any stretch of the imagination. The operator did not even talk to me about my hair. She did a root touch up and dried it and charged me over 100 dollars. I have never been treated so badly in my life. I am new to the area and beginning to think that this is just a rude place to live. The operators name is Amy. Maybe she is the only one in this salon who treats people this poorly or maybe she is prejudice for some reason.

My stylist was nice and my hair cut was great, but I had a bait and switch event with a $20 off coupon. I was given the coupon at the salon, and told clearly, that a cut would be $35, and if I added $5 more in product that would bring the total to $40, the amount needed to apply the coupon (making the cut + product $20). This was presented to me 2 days ago. Today I go in for a cut and my cut was not $35, but $50. They would not honor the original deal I was presented. After discount my total was $30 for a mens cut. My cut, while good, is not deserving of more than $15-$20. I understand employees can make mistakes, but a business should honor those mistakes and better train their employees. This is the second Aveda salon I have had an issue with in Naples (the other one had wrong hours listed so I arrived to a closed salon).

Spoke to the manager Whitney yesterday ( 10/4/2016) There is a big problem with my haircut from Amber. She cut over 4 inches off the back of my hair. I specifically communicated I didnt want any length taken. I wish I could post a photo here. You wouldnt believe it. There is a BIG chunk of hair missing, and it is extremely obvious it is missing. A photo can be viewed on my Facebook page Vincene Ruggiero Lewis, Lehigh Acres Florida. Now what am I supposed to do? Explain to me how this could happen. 10/5/2016- I received a call from the owner and at first I accepted restitution ($50.). She offered a complimentary facial as well. However, after much thought I have decided to return the check and refuse the facial. I am so upset over this and I wont be happy till my hair grows back. : (

Normally I pay 75.00 for a few foils and a color retouch, they charge 7.00 a foil. Today hair colorist retouched my hair but when she foiled she foiled only 7 strands of hair and increased my foil amount so I paid double. So it looks like my hair color didn’t change at all. Not the norm that I usually get there. One thing I just don’t like and can’t understand,,,,you never know what you’re going to pay, when I pointed out the amounts on their pricing chart, it gives ranges so you can pay anywhere from 55.00 - 75.00 and then you pay more for that same service if the person is more experienced than the other person. Well how much is each person? There are no pricing charts for the different levels of beauticians anywhere, so you really don’t know what you’re paying.

I have been a long-time customer, and I feel the quality of service has greatly declined. We had a horrible recent experience with a hair stylist, Amber, who I used many times before, but she showed no concern or consideration in a situation she messed up. She totally mishandled the whole experience, and I will not return to her. I also asked Whitney to have the new owner, Ashley, contact me for my feedback and concern, but I never recd any follow up. They obviously dont care about their customers. The prices are way too high. I found another Aveda salon where they absolutely pamper you, and their prices and quality of service far exceed Salon Bamboo! I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone anymore!

I have been going to Salon bamboo for almost 2 years now. Both stylists that I saw did an amazing job. The second one that I saw was Amber. She was (and is)absolutely phenomenal. Her work with color is unparalleled. She was able to devise a strategy by which we do roots one color and highlights another and blend them together to give depth and style. I wouldnt go anywhere else in Naples. Amber is so incredibly talented. I introduced her to my mom and my aunt and now they both go to her as well. Because tourist season is coming up in Naples I actually booked with Amber through May just to make sure that I can get in to see her. I would recommend Salon bamboo to anyone.

This place is very pushy about selling shampoo and all about the money. My hairdresser tried to sell me all kinds of products and all it did was make me feel uncomfortable. I know aveda makes them sell but they just lost a customer because of it.. When i checked out i was surprised again when my bill for a cut and highlight was over $200.. When i questioned the price the front desk staff said "you had a haircut with highlights right? thats what it costs" so rude!! im telling everybody about this place.. Dont waste your money here theres loads of other salons in town that do a better job for less money.

I have been going to Salon Bamboo Aveda for many years now...even before they moved into their current location! Doreen and Stevie have been my main stylists, and they are both superb! My now-adult kids also go when in town and really, weve been happy with all of the stylists. If something wasnt exactly the way we might have expected, they are always more than happy to re-do it. The entire staff is very customer friendly, greets you when you arrive, and always willing to help out. I would highly recommend Salon Bamboo Aveda...and quite frankly, already have to many of my friends.

I have been seeing Amber at Salon Bamboo Aveda for over 6 yrs., and have to say - she is the Best of the Best. From the moment you walk in , you are greeted warmly but the cute staff. Amber , my stylist, is so good at listening to what it is you want to do with your cut/ color, and at producing the best results. Great products- great results. Great skill- great results. Its always a bonus to really enjoy the professional you work with- and Amber makes it so fun yet professional. I always walk out feeling fantastic. Best salon!

I love "hair day" with Lauren at Salon Bamboo. She is always prompt, polite and professional. She always consults with me every appointment. She respects my quiet time and doesnt banter on with small talk unless I engage first. The salon is always clean and everyone is helpful and friendly. I LOVE everything about my hair day!
