I dont know why people rate their whole entire UPS experience with this particular location. This location is the main sorting center for UPS here in Naples. They are not a "Pack and Ship" location. They do have a customer service counter where they will take your prepaid package or give you your package that you have put on hold (will call). And yes, dont go there before 9:30, as that is when they open the front counter. Once again, they are not a "pack and ship" location, although the people working there do help customers fill out their label info and tape up boxes, etc. but during the busy season, busy time of day, they are not staffed to help you package your items and buy labels. There is a note on the door suggesting you take your things to a UPS store and have them help if you need help. Also, there is a drop box on the sidewalk as you enter their parking lot, so you dont even have to go in for your prepaid items, unless your package is big. Now for the review. The front counter staff is excellent by far. Most of the time it is all ladies, but occasionally, one of the drivers fills in. We drop off and pick up packages here almost every day and have never had a bad experience. I have been in there when customers were just cussing and throwing a fit because their package was not there to pick up, yet they just got the missed delivery notice an hour before so their package is still riding around town till the driver makes it back to the sorting center that evening. Nothing the staff can do about it, but they handled the rude customer with grace and gentleness. I would not want their job dealing with this type of customer day in and day out. If someone had a less than desirable experience with one of these ladies, I can assure you they probably just had a temper tantrum customer before them because we have never a bad experience and we are in there at different times of day, almost every day.

The employees here are very friendly and helpful. I am there almost daily picking up and dropping off packages and it is actually a high point of my day. My little boy usually request to go with me as he really enjoys talking with the drivers and showing the ladies at the front counter his latest or greatest toy or handing them any little packages we need to ship. They usually give him a blank receipt label so he feels like he helped drop off the packages. He just hates to miss a trip to the UPS sorting center. Just a note, this is a self-serve center. They have computers by the front door for you to print out your own labels and such, but this customer center is mainly for dropping off pre-labeled packages, or picking up packages on hold. If you need full service help with packaging, they recommend that you go to one of the UPS Stores instead. Now with that being said, I have personally seen the employees help customers fill out their shipping info and package things (when it wasnt too busy and the customer was having trouble or questions). Also, the parking lot gets crazy in the morning till after 10am with all the trucks leaving, and in the evening after 5pm with all the trucks coming in so be careful and plan on having a little more patience. The only bad thing I would say about the place is the parking is terrible in their busy season because they end up adding extra docks that block a lot of the customer non-handicap parking.

Never had an issue with their service until this past week. Ordered some items online last Monday and paid for 2 nd day air so it would definitely be delivered by December 23rd. Got home from work Friday and a note was left on the front door saying that they will attempt to redeliver on next business day. Sometimes the drivers leave my packages at front door sometimes they knock and have me sign for it. If I knew when ordering these items that I would have to sign for them I would have left a note to do so. I looked online and on the ups website it said that overnight and 2nd day air packages would be delivered on Christmas Eve. Ok perfect. My Christmas gifts will still get here in time! Phew! When they didnt arrive I looked online to the local hub here in Naples, it said they were closed Saturday and wont reopen until Tuesday. What the heck??? The official ups website said I would get delivery on Christmas Eve. So, many of my friends and family members did not recieve their Christmas presents yesterday. And they wont be getting them until the earliest... Tuesday. Very disappointed.Especially when I paid all of this extra money to guarantee delivery before Christmas. Drivers need to have some consistency on when they need signatures or not. Very frustrating. Hopefully I will get my packages Tuesday. Fingers crossed.

IF you work a lot of hours not worth the aggravation. Hub not open on Saturdays at all, 1st attempt was on early Friday afternoon, NEXT attempt is Monday sometime? Which I wont be here for either. If you want the package delivered elsewhere you gotta sign up and even then you have to wait. Been waiting for this replacement phone for 4 days now and will be another 2-3 before I can make arrangements and track it down. If you need it now , use FedEx or *Gasp* US Postal Service. Would love to go get it TODAY but of course they arent even open for a few hours on Saturday, not very customer friendly for those of us working 60-70 hours a work during business hours.

Employees ignorant of UPS policy on firearms shipping. UPS website clearly states their policy, but these ladies make up the rules as they go. FedEx is 2 blocks from there & they were glad to ship my old lever action for repair.
