DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM UPS After my mother died my father put their Naples, Florida apartment on the market. I wanted something to remember her by and asked him to ship me a ceramic poodle that had been sitting on the coffee table for over thirty years. He went to this UPS Store and had them both pack and ship it to my home in Southern California. He opted for the $100 insurance which is included with the shipment price. When I found it on my doorstep, it was obviously broken because I could hear pieces rattling around and the box was crushed. I sent the store pictures of the crushed box and the broken dog. When my mother bought the piece originally she had to have it repaired but it has remained intact during the entire time we had it. The UPS Store #2569 would not honor the claim because the piece had been previously repaired. They could tell that because they took pictures of it intact before they wrapped it. They DID NOT tell my father that the insurance wouldnt be honored. All the photos can be seen on the stores Yelp photo stream. They have stalled the claim saying they asked for additional information which we did not receive. As you can well imagine, this is causing me a great deal of pain. Every time I have to contact them about it, I have to think about them destroying acherished family memento. I would not recommend using UPS but especially this store. Horrible experience. Their "safe arrival" guarantee is false advertising.

I have been using this Pak and Mail Store for 13 years. They are always quick and efficient. My last experience was a nightmare but not their fault. I mailed a package $213.00 (to mom). Mom gave me the wrong address after chasing down the package I was told to contact the point of shipping to see about getting it re routed. I dont know who did it but it was re routed and got to mom safe and sound. Thank you UPS for helping a girl out. :)

We stopped by on March 11, 2016 and the lady working there was very very rude to us. Three-time she told us we couldnt have something and then when we corrected her she said we could. Very confusing. She was the rudest lady I have ever encountered. Was trying to ship something home. Used fed ex instead
