If you go to this salon watch out for precilla she did a terrible job on my hair AND charged me $15 for it and her excuse was oh it was a misunderstanding i said i only want a trim dont cut a lot because i have curly hair and makes it curlier if its short, i want long layers and make it look like a V from the back...is that so hard to understand? unless you are a retard..i used to go to a fantastic sams in st pete where Eddie used to cut my hair and he was terrific he knew how to cut it he was an expert too bad he had to go back home up north and i ended up with this lady precilla who says she knows how to cut hair she cut about 3 inches AND it its uneven it looks terrible and it does not look like a V from the back my husband couldnt believe how bad it looks he wanted to go back and demanded the money back but i was so upset that just wanted to leave..we are never going to that place again and i will not recommended to anyone!!

I really appreciate the folks who took the time to put their reviews on here. I had a perm and desperately needed a trim - my hair was unmanageable and my regular stylist is only open a few days a week (not weekends!) and I just got to a point I couldnt take it anymore. So, I went to see Stephanie at Fantastic Sams in Oldsmar and she was GREAT! Knowledgeable and professional (18 years experience), she addressed my concerns and didnt push unnecessary extra services or products. Ive been used to going to "salons" and paying a lot for a styled cut - walked out of there today for $20 (including a $5 tip!) Got her card and will count myself blessed to find such a gifted stylist so close to home and at such an unbelievably great price! WOW! SY

Beware of this salon they did a terrible job on my hair!! I dont think these people know how to cut hair! I was really disappointed and when the manager called me and told me she wanted to fix my hair i told her that the person who cut my hair said she was only going to cut it no more than an inch and she end up cutting it like 4 inches and it was uneven! And the manager said that thats what they mean when they say one inch so its starts with bad management! If they tell you they will cut it one way they will cut it their own way! I will never go to this place ever again these people are not professional and they do not listen to what the custumer wants or is paying for! I payed $15 for a bad haircut and didnt get my money back! A

Falsified ad. Ad shows $17.95 for hair color, every Monday, All day!
BEWARE!!! THE $17.95 IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL PAY.
After I picked out the hair color, the manager, told me that the price on the ad was only for roots and if I wanted to color the full length of my hair, it will be an additional $10. When I showed her the ad, that stated nothing about roots, she stated quite rudely that the rules had changed.
I asked for the owners information but she wouldnt give it to me saying that "the owner wont talk to you", instead gave me the general managers info. I called and left a message on the voice mailbox but have not received a return call yet.
THIS VISIT HAS TOTALLY RUINED MY IMAGE OF FANTASTIC SAMS. ME

I havent been here in 2 years since they messed my eye brows up and when I went back to get them fixed, they said it wasnt their work. Then today, my sister calls me in tears saying an older lady who works there was extremely rude to her. Saying her hair isnt good, its completely dead, its probably mushy and what not when she washes it. Her hair is not even that bad. Clearly, you need to have a better, more experienced staff. Your workers apparently dont know healthy from dead hair. Maybe that explains why they messed my brows up as well. Pretty sad they have to go on and on saying ruse things to a teenager. Smh. SI

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! THEY LITERALLY RUINED MY LONG GORGEOUS BLONDE HAIR!!! THE HIGHLIGHTS WERE ORANGE AND GOLD THEN SHE PUT A ASH TONER IN WHICH TURNED MY HAIR GREEN! WENT BACK TO HAVE THE MANAGER FIX IT OMG EVEN WORSE!!!! SHE PUT DARK BROWN TO COVER THE MISTAKE AND THE BLONDE TURNED BRIGHT ORANGE! HAIR BROKE OFF! DONT EVER EVER EVER GO TO THESE PEOPLE EVER!!!! I AM PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ILL FROM THIS!!! NOW MY HAIR IS SO DAMAGED NOTHING I CAN DO TO CORRECT IT FOR AT LEAST A MONTH! MA

Had my haircut by Stephanie on Sat. Night. She was wonderful! Knew exactley what I wanted and gave me the best haircut Ive ever had! I am totally going back to see Stephanie and you should to!

Stay Away. Most of the staff is fine but manager is clueless. Also, if your credit card machine is down all weekend let us know when you sign us in. Not the brightest bunch. FI
