I went to a franchise to get my hair cut. I totally regretted it afterwards because I got a bad haircut. I have fine hair. The thing about getting a fade haircut with my type of hair is that if its not cut/buzzed evenly you will notice it more as the hair grows out. After about a week, I noticed uneven hair and patches. I searched online and found A1 Barbershop on South OBT across from the Waterbridge Downs shopping plaza. The service was great and I was taken care of immediately. The older gentlemen seated there all seemed very friendly and courteous. Although the barber that cut my hair spoke broken English, he understood exactly what I wanted! : ) He totally fixed my hair cut and I left the barbershop with that "feeling like a brand new person" -type of hair cut! I totally recommend A1 Barbershop and I am now a loyal customer. Im looking forward to getting all of my future haircuts at this barbershop. Thanks A1 Barbershop, I havent recieved a haircut of this caliber since I was living in NYC! You guys are the best!

Best barber shop I ever been to! My son has special needs and has always been difficult to cut. I took him to many other places and his hair cut never comes out right because my son is very difficult. The barbers at this shop along with the owner are very patient and dedicated to their customers. They did not give up until the haircut was complete and 100% right. They were very gentle with him. This is by far the best experience and hair cut my son has ever gotten! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone and for sure will be coming back.

There is no such time what time opening. And what ever time it say opening it is lies. There was time with old owner used open on time. These are just young kids they open when ever they feel like it. It is bad for business and bad for customers when they know this the timing for opening.

Used to go here back in the late 90s. Old Pacific-Islander man named Johnny used to cut hair here. He was awesome. Very friendly and knew how to fade. Other staff there was just as good. Reading some of the comments, it sounds like nothing has changed. Next time Im in town I plan to go again.

They did a really good job with my sons hair cut. He wanted a mohawk. Didnt really think they could do it since we were of a different ethnicity...African American. But Im glad to say they new their stuff and very professional. Would recommend them.
