Dealing with a kitchen fire that leaves grime, soot and nasty smoke residue over every inch of my home was not fun. Living in a hotel for 3 months was okay, but there is no place like home. That being said......all the people at Fl. Cat. were fabulous, courteous, funny, quick working, super responsible and an absolute joy to be around. Also: very important: they were all very trustworthy...they had the garage door code to my home and came and went daily whether I could be there or not. They kept my spirits lifted as I tried to learn Spanish words from them, so we laughed a lot as we worked diligently. Fl. Cat did not hold me up one bit; they came daily and moved efficiently and professionally as they wrapped and took everything out of my house to be cleaned and hopefully salvaged. Clean, scrub, paint, carpet and back it all came again to be unpacked and placed in the proper rooms. I cannot recommend this company and all their staff highly enough! Whenever I texted a question to one of them, the answer came back quickly. I was there a lot of the time, my choice, I am retired.....they could have done it all without me being involved. Yes, yes, a total 10.....thank you Fl Cat....I will be back in my house in a few more days, Whew!!! Barbara Patch

On January 28,2016, 38,000 gallons of water filled our home due to a ruptured water line. Our insurance company, USAA, recommended Florida Catastrophe (FlaCat) to remove the water, dry the place out and make the necessary repairs to restore our home to its original condition. USAA said we could use any one we wished, but they had good results with FlaCat. We took their advice and we are really glad we did. All of the work was done in very professional manner. The work teams were very kind and considerate of our needs. They cleaned up every day after work and when the work was all done the place looked better and brighter than before. Every one that was sent to our home was very skilled and worked well with the other team members. I highly recommend FlaCat for any type of home recovery

They only value the insurance company, they are difficult to work with, I called a waited for days to get an additional estimation on some extra work that I wanted done. I received an email after several phone calls that they are unable to help me and advised to consult Lowes or home depot. I called and spoke with a supervisor the only word I got from him that that was not B..S.. is “It is noted on the report that you are getting several bid on the job” I would not recommend this company.

The people are really a wonderful bunch of guys and gals. They provided equal levels of humor and professionalism during my renovation which was appreciated. I had never dealt with a kitchen fire before, but these guys had seen it all. My biggest reason for choosing them was their attention to detail and communication skills. They were also quick to turn around their estimate which was appreciated. Put your mess in their hands. Youll come out of it with a better house and peace of mind.

It was a late Sunday night when a water pipe burst in our master bath. We couldnt turn off the water so the fire dept came to our rescue and then we called USAA...they went into action and FL Catastrophe showed up. They are "outstanding" they came with their crew and I cant tell you how wonderful this "bad" experience turn into a great one!. I would call them again if I ever need their help.

Florida Catastrophe has come to our aid this past year twice...once after a tree fell and did property damage, and secondly when a leak did some damage. In both cases, they were on top of the situation, responded on a timely basis and communicated with us as expected. we would definitely use them again and recommend them to others..

when our living room ceiling and insulation came tumbling down from a broken pipe in the attic to the time usaa, our ho insurance called Fla-Cat . IT was about 3 hours for it all to be cleaned up, ceiling hole c overed, damage assessed and fans set. when they got the contract to repair they workers were awesome.Thanks all

Repairing damage from a leak. It was a bit drawn out, partially due to our traveling north and back and partially due to some communication breakdown. But the work is done and to our satisfaction. We also had you do some additional work at our expense and the experience was satisfactory and efficient.

Very shoddy business. Roof tarps were placed and a few days later started shredding leaving tiny pieces of very cheap tarp all over my lot and all neighbors. I called for help and they ignored all of my phone calls and never returned calls for 2 full days. Avoid these people at all costs.

Upper management dropped the ball quite a bit. Every time I called after waiting several days for an answer they claimed they just 5 minutes ago got that answer. Right. The workers were awesome. Great people, on time, clean and very very courteous.

I had some serious clean up and restoration ahead of me after the accident, but these guys made the process better. It still was a junky couple of weeks, but the house looks better than before and these guys sped up the process immensely.
