So about 3 or so years ago I was a member at this gym and I loved it! The atmosphere was great, they were open 24hrs and the staff was amazing. I made some great connections here and made some awesome progress with my weight loss. Fast forward to the present, after having to cancel my membership due to relocation I get a letter from a debt collector in the mail for this gym. I had filled out the membership cancellation form 3 years ago with an employee I remember and was never contacted in a three year span to notify me of any missed payments. I have called the gym 3 times and the owner has not been available to even speak with me briefly. I have left messages with the front desk and have received no call back. I dont know who the owner is but he or she must not ever go into the gym and doesnt care about customer service. I would say that the owner is a shady character at best and would never again give them a chance at earning my business.

I think theyre pretty good gym. But you gotta kno what to expect, it clearly states retro gym. So no sauna (not that you need one) bathroom to pee in, weights to lift...what else do you need? I kno I kno all theese new fan dangled "health clubs" are just that clubs, I dont wanna talk and sit in the leather sofas and watch sports center, I wanna lift, and leave. And just because its no contract doesnt mean theres not cancelation fees, especially if you join then immediately try and cancel cause the bathrooms arent marble and gold and the place isnt "different" its a gym...why be different when you can be fit? Just my 10 cents (my 2 cents are free)

I weighed 270 lbs and had 0 confidence ... Didnt think there was any hope for me until i found this GYM. Everything you need is there. None of the perks that bigger gyms have, but that is the beauty of it; it filters all those people that arent committed and wasting other peoples time who actually want to get results they want and need. The hours are perfect and the staff treats you like one of their own.. I am now at an even 200 lbs and i am not stopping. As a matter of fact, I am omw now... Oh, and probably the coldest water fountain i have ever consumed from.. thats nice..

This place steals your money. They double, triple and quadruple bill you and will NEVER stop charging you for a cancelled membership. If you have a membership now, bad news. The owner will attempt to charge you for the rest of your life. You have to cancel your bank account and sue to stop him from charging you and running your credit. Even if you can prove you cancelled years ago. Spit on any employee on the way out, cancel your card at the bank and never go back.

This place has so much potential if the own would take care of it. I work and live downtown and lifted there for almost 4 years but the place just kept going downhill. The A/C was out for three weeks and the bath/locker rooms smell terrible. The roof leaks and the equipment is old and/broken. For me the location and price werent worth it.

Ive been a member at the gym downtown for several years, this gym has everything anyone could ask for, and some, to reach any goal, also has such a comfortable atmosphere. Granted, not the most high tech equipment, its a gym though... toughen up! Great staff, Owner Rocky is fantastic, always open and accommodating to any request.

About the dirtiest gym Ive been to. After two years I cant recall ever seeing anyone clean the machines. On the positive side, its not very busy, people usually rerack their weights, and the price. I think I need to go wash my hands now.

This place is most def retro, not some fancy smancy health club trying to keep selling you stuff. A basic, lets go lift weights and kick ass place. No kids, just a really good group of folks. Price is good, and I love it there.

Been going to Gym Downtown for a month now. The staff is really nice and friendly. Great equipment and the location is fantastic. I look forward to going here all the time and it also helps that I live only a block away.

Look at what you sign, they will change you 25.00 if you stoping coming. And will not let you no at the same time bill you for late fees, when the bill get so high then they try to get with you to pay

The management is awful. If you have an issue, you must leave messages, most of which are not returned. Read the fine print in the contract. The only thing good is the price, in all honesty.

On every trip that Ive been to Orlando I would come and use this gym. Great experience each and every time. Great layout and the staff are always friendly. Highly recommended.
