First experience, not great. I was hoping for the best, but was shocked on how they handled everything. I called, told them it was my first time and that Id like to schedule an appointment. I confirmed a time and was really excited about going. When I arrived, it seemed normal and somewhat professional. After sitting down with the stylist, she asked me what I was looking for in a cut. Okay, great..good start. She listened and seemed knowledgeable. Right away, she started trying to sell me their products. I thought, okay. I expect that from a place like this. Then, I get my hair washed. Kudos to the woman who did this. She was great. Then, I come back to the woman cutting my hair and thats when it went downhill. After asking her a couple questions I found out shes only been cutting hair for about a year! Are you kidding me? You just said youre still in training? I could tell later by the way she was cutting and handling my knots. I would have never agreed to this. They should have told me when I called that Id be getting a student! I dont want cheap. I am more than willing to pay. Money is not the issue. I cant believe they wouldnt mention that to me. And how I found out was by asking. It took 3 hours to cut my hair! When it was done she asked if she could take a picture. I thought, okay..I finally get to see the back of my hair. Nope. Never did she show me, nor the pics she took. I dont even know how many times she had to correct herself on cutting. Dry and wet hair. Im so nervous to see how my hair looks straightened, since thats normally how I style it. Honestly, Im more upset that they didnt tell me from the start and ask if it was okay. I would have politely said no and that Id prefer a senior stylish whos DONE with initial training. And OBVIOUSLY paid more. Dang if I wanted a student I would have called and gone to a school!!!! Ugh. Im so disappointed.

HI, I would like to share my wifes experience at Prive with everyone else. Last April she went there for a Palliage, walked in with a long black hair that almost reached my waist line and after a long agonizing 6 hours ordeal walked out with a burned hair barely covering the back of her neck. Thanks to Allan who obviously has no clue how to do anything at all, he kept coming and going leaving me there without even checking her hair. Finally when he decided it was time and realizing that her hair was totally burned he panicked and started telling her that she better off not washing it or using a hair dryer for some time suggesting that she should leave and come back after few days, meanwhile her hair was coming out into her hands while she was checking it. As for the salon their only response was drying her hair and cutting it to a level where it was not burned, even that they sucked in doing and then offered her some lousy hair product that should magically help to grow back her hair with no intention of any kind of disciplinary action against the genius who burned her hair, my wife is 32 years old and it took her entire life to grow her hair to the length it used to be. Till now she still has parts of what remained of her hair coming off and Styling it is not possible anymore. The only thing that prevented me from suing him was that I was visiting the US and do not have the time or knowledge on how to properly do it. my wife is certainly not going back there ever and if you must at least avoid Allan if you want to keep your hair .

I first went to Prive almost two years ago when I first moved to orlando. I was quite nervous and completely scared to trust anyone to touch my hair due to bad experiences in the past. All I knew about my hair appointment was that Id be meeting with some girl named Danielle. Full of anticipation as I entered the salon I was greeted with the warmest and most welcoming hello by this Danielle the hair stylist. She was the sweetest person from beginning to end. I walked into this salon feeling completely different than when I left. Not only did her talent make me feel transformed and beautiful but my spirit was lifted. That day I didnt just get a hair cut. I didnt know that walking into this place, Danielle would change my life forever. Ive never been the same sense and though I was blessed by her amazing hair skills, I was most importantly blessed by an amazing experience and pivotal moment in my life. Thank you Danielle, you are the best hair stylist EVER and this is why almost 2 years later she is still stuck with me. I simply refuse to go anywhere else. God is so good and I thank him for her everyday.

EDWIN. First person to make me beyond happy after my haircut. He took his time, and he is the master of haircuts. He has a lot of experience under his belt, listens to what you want, and creates a masterpiece. He is 100% knowledgeable about any questions you have concerning hair. Every place Ive gone too never seem to satisfy me when it came to the type of cut I wanted, but edwin went above and beyond to listen to exactly what I wanted. I give him props, my hair isnt the easiest to handle, and he made it seems so easy. So glad I finally found the perfect salon. NATALIE. Blonde specialist for a good reason. Ive been a blonde for 5 years, but it became too much maintenance, i came to my appointment with an open mind and Natalie help me decide on the most low maintenance way to maintain my blonde hair. I love my soft ombre! No more rushing to the salon for a root touch up in my busy schedule. COREY. Best hair wash hands down. He massaged my scalp and was always there with a smile and great conversation. Everyone at Prive is amazing, I am glad I was refereed!

Im glad that I didnt read the negative reviews before going into this amazing salon! Ive lived in Orlando for 15 years and have had trouble finding a high quality salon for a mens haircut ever since my stylist moved away a few years ago. In my search Ive realized most places/people cutting mens hair fall back on a generic mens haircut using clippers and shears and give you a plain cut in about 15 minutes, and rarely listen to your instructions on how you like your cut. I was assigned to a stylist by the name of Jessica (short and sweet) who listened to every word I shared about what I like and dont like. She gave me suggestions and explanations on certain styles and why they would go well with my appearance, shape of my head and hair type, and made sure that I was satisfied with the cut throughout the whole process. She only used shears and made the lengths blend perfectly together! Best haircut Ive had in years!! And the overall service is over the top from all the staff members! Thank you Jessica and thank you Prive Salon!! :-)

I have been going to Prive Salon for a hair over 10 years now. Erica has been my stylist exclusively in that time and I have never once been even slightly disappointed in my cut or service. Its a relief to have someone I can trust to listen to my needs and execute them in a way that best suites my hair type and face shape. The Salon itself is absolutely gorgeous and gives you the sense that you are about to have a pampered experience the moment you walk in. The ladies that are there to check you in are always in a great mood (even if they may not be) professional and quick to see to your needs....and hey lets be honest theyre not hard on the eyes either ;). Thank You to everyone at Prive for making my hair beautiful and giving me an experience to look forward to every few months. Also, where as I mainly get my cut and style here. Note, they are a full service salon with various services to pamper yourself with. Everything from eyelash extensions and eyebrow shaping to hair extensions and Make up application. ENJOY!!!
