This place used to be a great salon where my wife could relax and get a professional quality hair style. But today (9/19/16) at 3pm my wife walked in for an appointment that she had made a week earlier to find a group of women having a social hour at the front counter. She was greeted with such a particularly snobbish inflection that even though the words that were spoken were "heyyyyyy how are you" it felt like she was really saying, uh thanks alot for ruining my social hour i guess I have to do my job now. Thats no big deal everyone hates their job these days, its rare to walk into a place and get greeted in a genuinely friendly fashion. Then my wife has the new girl assigned to her who apparently only knows how to cut hair which is a big problem because when she made the appointment she started out by saying Id like to make an appointment to change my hair color. Then apparently there is only one person in there who knows how to color hair and he was already coloring someone elses hair so he told her they didnt have the means to color her hair and told her she had bags under her eyes so the hair color wouldnt even look good on her. They seemed to be just trying to scare her away from getting the hair coloring that she originally asked for and just get a hair cut because they kept quoting high prices to see if she would back down and they told her it might take three visits to color her hair the color she wanted. The most ridiculous thing about it is that she wasnt looking to get a rainbow dye job it was just a lighter shade of brown than her natural hair color. I hope whoever owns this salon realizes that the fools who are running it are losing you thousands of dollars. My wife just made an appointment at Moriah Brandons salon they are much more friendly and have better prices.

Updated Review: I returned for a root touch up Saturday and the salon owner and staff were amazing. They not only did a fantastic job on my color but the service was above and beyond what I expect from Aveda. I will be back and I will recommend to others in the future. First Review: This is a mixed review so Ill just list the pros and cons Pros: Haircut was what I asked for I like aveda products Charged less than expected Cons: I asked for color and highlights and instead she did just toner on my hair ends which although cheaper not what I asked for I walked out with visible greys even after mentioning it again toner only not what I asked for No hand massage and hair wash felt rushed No drink offered at any time Reception not very welcoming (again no tea offered or explanation for 20 minute late start) I may go back simply because the next closest aveda salon is so far and Id like to give things two tries before giving up ;-)

M Salon is a very nice place and the ambient is very relaxing specially when you are going to have low lights and hight lights for long hair that it is my case. They treat you like a queen and definitely they do have very good stylist. Mine is very good and she has a lot of experience. I do enjoy going there even for just a hair cut. I am very picky and and my stylist girl has so much patience, very important for me as well. Excellent customer services and eloquent place to get your hair done. Aveda products are great, I love the foundation and the lip loss.

Chose aveda because of national reputation. My first mistake. Asked for haircut and highlights. Had to go back for a redo because the first time it just looked bad. Had the redo didnt do any better. Hightstown turned to white streaks and haircut was choppy. Went back home for the holidays, gone 2 weeks. Ended up getting my hair cut and colored plus a protein treatment due to damaged hair by Aveda. Went back there today to ask for a reimbursement of my $300. They said I didnt give them another chance and waited to long. What a rip off.

Everybody is very nice. However, there is really nowhere to sit while waiting to be called which was awkward. Highly overpriced and very disappointed with the color and highlights. Color was much darker than I expected. Terrible job cutting my bangs. He let me leave with my bangs looking ridiculous. I went straight home and pinned them back they looked so bad.

Had my first appointment with hairstylist Soenhee, she is so very nice and honest with what you would like done and what is possible. She spent a lot of time with me talking about options that would work for my hair type. It also works out because I love Aveda products!!

Chose this salon because it is an Aveda salon. I am a snowbird who colors her hair regularly. My stylist in Indiana gave me the formula for my color. The stylist in Florida was able to match my color and give me a nice trim of my hair. Will go back next Winter.

Had a wonderful experience at this salon. I was greeted very promptly and offered their delicious Aveda hot tea. Dean was amazing! Could not be happier. Whitney was also extremelg personable and talented. I would highly recommend them both.
