My son was there last year and I just want to say that teachers in this school (at least in my sons room) may be experienced and educated with bachelors degrees and diplomas as we were told, but they are not charismatic at all and couldnt feel that connection with my son. When I used to drop him off at school, teachers were having breakfast in the same room and didnt bother to received children. Many times i just felt I was leaving my son just in a room where he needed to find what to do to entertain himself. At the end when we decided to leave the place (for vacations) I started receiving notes for the day saying he constantly hit others and even rewrite over the same note over and over again as if we were the only ones who had to correct the issue. If this is an academy that is why they have to work with parents and help kids. We used to think that if that place is expensive it is because they really are worth it. WRONG We went on vacations at the end of last year and couldnt pay the half tuition to keep my sons spot and when we want back on January they told us they didnt have a place and we asked to be on a waiting list and they wrote my sons name on a post and never got a call back (off course) After that I decided to call and ask if they had openings for a 3 year old and they said yes to go by and have a tour. I felt so bad for my baby who by the way used to cry every morning when i used to drop him off. t the end it was a favor to us because we found an other daycare (not that expensive) where people have charisma to work with children and where my son really enjoys going to. Being an only child and getting used to be around more kids and learning how to share with others, Kids City USA has done a great job and they really know how to work with parents and how to educate children. I am writing this review because as a concerned mother I used to read reviews before choosing a place and I am just giving out my experience.

I took my son to O2Bkids for aftercare instead and boy do I regret it. He developed terrible behavior at O2Bkids and I believe its because they are mixed in with the older kids during play time and they pretty much run wild all around the facility. My son also would DECIDE not to go to his classes which made no sense why they would let a 7 yr old make his own decision on whether or not he went to the classes I was paying for. There didnt seem to be real structure there. It was just too many kids for them to really keep an eye on at all times. Not to mention grown adult men were allowed to go into the bathrooms with the children because they were "parents" of the other kids. As if child molesters have never had children of their own. I finally said, I cannot do this anymore, the bathroom issues is too stressful to think about if my son is safe and his behavior became out of control. I decided to have Starchild pick him up instead. I let them know of my sons behavior issues and they immediately jumped on board to help me. They also encourage their staff to pay close attention to conversations to make sure they arent using bad words and talking about inappropriate things. The group of children is much smaller then O2Bkids so they are ALWAYS being watched. He hasnt had issues with not doing his homework anymore either. I work all day and its true that it takes a village to raise a child. Its so nice to know that Starchild has my back as a parent and is making sure he is behaving appropriately while Im not around. And although O2Bkids has all the flashing bells and whistles, my son told me he loved Starchild and thought it was really fun, which he never said about O2Bkids.

We love star Child, the staff, the up to date equipment and how clean the building is, is fantastic. My son started about a year ago and went from room for 2 year olds to 3 year olds and he transitioned VERY WELL. Ms. Dawn and Ms. Vicki are fantastic staff in the morning and Melissa and Ashley in the evening are super helpful and on top of It all. WE LOVE them, we DISLIKE they raised the rates by $10 in just 6 months but oh well, price we pay for great child care.

Great Experience!!!...Lovely staff and ownership!!! My son doesnt cry at all like he did @KidsRKids..He enjoys learning in the classroom thats not over crowded!!! He doesnt come home starving either!!! Oh did I mention the facility is Very Clean Inside and Outside is Well Manicured....No complaints from me and our two year old son!!! We Love It!!!!
