Im laughing at the last review... the child was kicking and screaming on the second day but not the first because he realized you were going to leave him there. Many children have anxiety when being separated from their parent, no matter how great the place is, and especially when they havent been to daycare/school before. My oldest daughter attended VPK at La Petite and she loved it. She cried when she graduated because she loved her teachers so much and was going to miss them. She is very excited to go back and visit with them now that her little sister is enrolling for VPK this school year. I like how safe they make it when you are dropping off/picking up your child. The teachers really cared about my child and developed a meaningful relationship with her. She is sensitive and shy and they helped her come out of her shell a little. Ive never heard of any teacher abusing the children and if that were true, they would have been fired/closed down. All in All a good preschool that helped my daughter develop and fine tune the skills she would need for kindergarten. (Which she just finished with flying colors!)

My god daughter started here last week. She is almost 2 years old, and we wanted her to go to a good school where she could socialize and play with other children. We were completely shocked when she came home with a bruise and a deep cut which looks like fingernails, no way this is from a child, it was a deep cut, from an adult. We could overlook a bruise from playing, but not this deep cut! The instructor said she was sorry, which we know admits guilt! Also, she called us to come pick her up because the baby wouldnt stop crying- then the same night she has cuts and bruises?? There is a horrible teacher there, who apparently pinches and cuts children. Please do not bring your baby/child here, as this teacher is abusive, and my whole family is devastated by this! This broke our hearts and made us feel helpless, please dont bring your baby here!

My children have been attending La Petite since January 2009. I can not say enough good things about this school. I have four children and my last two started when they were just weeks old. I have never had any major issues, other than other kids having caused an incident. My children LOVE all the teachers and staff, even some days wanting to stay at school and not come home. I feel like I can trust all of the staff with my childrens lives and education. Both older children have tested above standards and been dual enrolled in kindergarden/1st grade. I will give that credit to the education that this school gives to my children. If there was something wrong going on at this school, my children would tell me so.

My son is 14 now and we just went back to say hey to the ladies at La Petite they remembered my boy without a bat of an eye. The ones that were still there and we loved tremendously hugged him and offered help to him now that he is making a huge transition to 9th grade. They also saw my 9yo who when we left was a baby and loved on her as well. I have been praying everyday that someone drops from the VPK program so my youngest can attend there with those amazing woman. I love each and everyone of them. They take amazing care of the children there and have a special gift. I love you girls!! <3 Dawn, Christian, Kyndell and Kynlee

I wouldnt take my kids here if it was the last daycare in florida, they are so mean to the poor babys one of the teachers is known to pinch the children if they arent laying down at nap time others have been seen making fun of the kids ( one of them had some kind of face issue ) they called them names. and as for the manager she is the laziest lord help you if she is in charge of your child and he/she gets sick dont count on her to clean up anything. The food is a joke, and the staff is rude. Do not send your kids here amanda- mother of 3

The staff there are great! I have had a great experience with the school and they work with us very openly and easily since my son only attends 1-2 days a week. They always make time to talk with me about his progress and development. He, like most children, doesnt want us to leave him, but once he is there he doesnt want to leave. He started with Miss Robin in the 1 year old class and she was wonderful! He is now with Miss Kathy and she is very good with him, too! Thank you for making the daycare experience for us a good one!

I LOVE everything about this daycare! The staff is truly exceptional, the facility is always clean, and they bend over backward to help with anything from potty training, to speech, to office/financial issues. These wonderful ladies have become part of my family & I would trust no one else to help raise my child. I will be extremely sad when my son, Caleb, no longer needs them. I fully recommend this school to anyone. I cannot praise them enough.

My boys attended La Petite in port orange for pre-school and for after school care until they reached middle school. They both loved the teachers and the director. The director and teachers give you the feeling that your children are their children and make you feel good when leaving them at the school . My Boys always want to stop by and say hi and give hugs to the staff. Keep up the good work Ladies of La Petite !!!!!

My Granddaughter 2 days of school came home with nail marks on her back and a black and Blue. I am Broken hearted, I suggested this daycare to my family, feel I am to blame , I trusted the Director and Teacher . If you do not have to put your child in daycare DONT until they can talk . .so sad ,and Helpless.... God Bless the Little ones.

Great school and wonderful staff!! My son has been going there for two years now and Ive noticed tremendous improvement in his speech, social participation and gross motor skills. He is staying there for VPK in the fall. I definitely recommend La Petite!! :)

they are kind and caring, i went to this daycare as a child and some of the same caregivers are still there ... now as directors!! You dont find that at most daycares!!! Absolutely worth the money my daughter loves it there too

If i could give this place a negative one star i would. They label your kid if they misbehave according to their standards. Horrible place. I wouldnt let them watch my beta fish.

The worse place ever. The staff do not care about the children. I will never ever forget what they did to my daughter.

Love the staff, my children loves them as well. They made some upgrades and it looks fantastic.
