Having frequented many of the gyms between the Indiantown Road and Northlake corridors, I can say without a doubt that Crunch is the only option when it comes to health and fitness. Crunch offers a holistic approach to whatever ones health and fitness needs are. In the affordable price range from $10-$25 dollars per month depending on what resources you want to utilize, the value is not expected in such a clean, open facility with top-flight equipment. The facility is maintained beautifully and the change/shower/bathing rooms are kept meticulously. Crunch offers an array of fitness options from an abundance of cardio machines, to traditional weight sets, to top-of-the-line and branded weight machines. The openness of the facility allows you to plan your workout upon entry and keep a close pulse on equipment availability and options to accomplish your daily goals. The functional training area for Peak members is something I havent seen many places. The designated area with the plyometrics, turf, and tire allows patrons to invest in a full-body workout using a plethora range of motions. In addition to the above mentioned options, Crunch also offers personal training with some of the best trainers in the area if a customer is looking for a molded and motivated workout on their track to accomplishing their long-term goals. Finally, what separates Crunch most as a health and fitness club in the area is the people. The customer service witnessed on each visit is fantastic, from the GM Danny to the individuals at the desk. The knowledge communicated surrounding what Crunch offers and options to best suit the customers desire is very comforting. Most importantly, all of it is done with positivity and a smile. Combining the health and fitness options, value, facility logistics, and most importantly, the people, I recommend and view Crunch as the only option in the area in pursuit of health and fitness.

I joined Crunch in California because some wonderful Zumba instructors were there (Kyuna and Erica). They offered a useage membership in Palm Beach where I was going for a week or two almost monthly and it was around the corner on Northlake. The first time Cindy had to call Elk Grove to verify my membership because the computer systems are different. After that, every month I was greeted at the Northlake Crunch by my name although I was only there a week or two every month or bi monthly. I was at the hometown (Elk Grove) Crunch 3-5 times a week and no one ever said Hi Robin when I walked in. The Zumba instructors also took time to get to know me. Jeanne, Stephanie and Eli are fantastic Zumba instructors, Jeanne even convinced and encouraged me to get certified. I am now living in the Palm Beach area and I could not be happier with Dan for making the transfer so easy for me even though they are not a connected system. He greeted me the minute I walked in after moving with a huge smile and has done so since. The Northlake Crunch and the staff there are phenomenal!!!

You just cant find a better fitness center period !!!! Especially for the price compared with the services they provide they cant be beat. Tried Golds and Planet fitness but Crunch cant be beat. Very large, very open, well laid out, airy and you have a nice big window view of the outside. The place is kept spanking clean, including the locker rooms and toilets, and you will have lots of fresh cooling air and great workout music. Like others have commented, the manger and the staff are very friendly and always make you feel very welcome with a smile and every one feels at ease in a warm atmosphere. They also have a very big dance room with mirrors. No long term contracts, no hassles, pay as you go, cancel anytime. There are plenty of machines to go around for everybody but rush hour like anywhere else will be a bit busy. For the very affordable price of about $20 a month, you get all the bells and whistles with treadmills, cardio, tanning booths, lots of numerous workout machines more than you need and a separate free weights room. You cant fail to be impressed !!!!

Unetentive staff, very expensive personal training and unfair business practicses. They force you to prepay for future PT sessions without explaining the no refund policy. They fired my personal trainer, and she was incredible, and forced me to rebook with someone new. I gave Crush the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. On the day of the session the trainer did not show up due to the the staff not notifying her of the appointment. I spoke with the owner explaining that at this point I would like a refund for that PT session. He did not want to and said he had a solution and began making phone calls and talking to other trainers. I left the gym informing him to call me with an acceptable solution otherwise I would have to retract payment and find another gym. Later that day, a refund was processed for PT and I emailed him to say that he did the right thing and retained me as a customer. Later that day I received a phone call from a staff member informing me that my membership was terrminated!!

LA fitness? Golds Gym? *chuckles* Planet... Fatness? Haha, dont even get me started on the amount of areas where Crunch Fitnes not only supercedes these terrible establishments, but kicks it to the curb via spartan kick ad has no remorse with cold hard facts. Ive been hitting up this gym for quite a while now. I love this place so much so that I upgraded my membership to a peak. I utilize the free weight room, functional training area, and the various machines and never have had a problem with anything Ive worked out with, or the people on the floor! The staff have become my brothers and sisters, I love them more then I even admire the gym. Thank you very much Crunch fitness staff and prepare to get some massive Gains upon signing up here!

Not a great gym for anyone who is into weight lifting. They had very few bumper plates, and I dont recall them having any other type of plates other than the cheap plastic ones. They had three good barbells, and the pins for the racks were about as thick as a golf club, and completely bent. I was discouraged from using chalk. I over heard a young male personal trainer brag about a 275lb deadlift. Ive been to powerlifting meets and seen 60+ year old women lift more than that. I saw another personal trainer have a client switch between deadlift and kettle bell swings. Then go on to tell the client, they shouldnt be feeling much in their back when doing a dead lift.

I was a member with crunch, i stop going because the instructor that teach of there class left that was the only reason i go. Yet still i was paying every month, but did not go. They are not a contract gym just agreement. They send me a bill for $210. The months i use to pay and never go they didnt have a problem taking my money. So as soon as crunch wasnt getting my money, they send me to the credit bureau and drop my credit score 49 points. I think crunch is been taken your money even when you are not going, so why cant cancel your agreement instead of making your credit bad

Crunch has been pretty good to me I have no complaints Im glad they finally installed a place to hang your keys up. I normally go at night between 730 and 8 and Ill stay until it closes so I see Zeke a lot and hes been so nice and helpful to me. He has really good energy and He also has a sense of humor. I like that he knows my name which means he pays attention to who comes in the gym. When Im in the quite room he comes in there and asks me when Im done would I like for him to help me put back the weights. Keep Zeke!! He goes above and beyond! Give him a raise!
