I joined this gym after moving from Miami. I primarily chose this gym based on proximity to palm beach gardens and because they offered child care services. After signing up for a family membership which was explained to me that kids club was included - I went to the gym three times in the next week (at different times of the day). All three times I brought my 2 year old daughter and no one asked my daughters name or my name on drop off or pick up and no one asked to swipe my card. I was so upset by this I told Ulea the manager. She was so visibly upset and concerned that she refunded my membership fees and cancelled my membership immediately upon my request. Over all I thought the facility was clean and nice, the people that worked there were over all friendly, but the kids club was not being run properly. I would recommend this gym highly based on the customer service I received if it wasnt for the fact that I did not feel safe with my child there. If they could get the kids club in better shape I would have given them 5 stars. If you do not have kids this is the gym for you - if you do plan on using the kids club just hang out - observe first - and if they have fixed the problem with the lack of security which I am sure the manager is in the process of fixing - this place would be wonderful.

I was called a "prick" by a trainer this morning after he interrupted my warm-up set. I was minding my own business trying to get in and out and on my way to work. Based on his surprise I dont believe I was suppose to hear his comment. It was no doubt an attempt to show off for his client. In doing so, made himself appear very unprofessional and even immature at reasoning skills, respectfull speaking. The equipment I was using has been in a room, which has been open to the members for months now. Its frustrating on a whim that trainers can at their own leasure decide who and who cannot be in a room. LA customers pay a decent fee for a membership and all equipment (excluding classes) should be available to paying members. That also means not being interrupted and especially verbally insulted. This is poor customer service practices. Objectively speaking: I hope this review goes towards LA Fitness providing better customer/client service in the future.

The gym is clean, however...good luck trying to cancel. The company billed ME for a family members account (we did not sign up together, had no affiliation to my account whatsoever). Because that relatives credit card expired and they found out we are related, they began billing me. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was very rudely told "take it up with your bank". I eventually had to put a stop payment with my bank because LA Fitness never stops trying to run your card even after youve gone through the appropriate steps to cancel. They settled a class action law suit for this very problem a few years ago and obviously havent learned from their mistakes. Corporate/local gym will give you the run around when you mention cancelling. I am now with a small-business owner run gym that actually cares about customers. Id give a negative 100 star rating if it was possible.

I went for the first time on a leg traing day. Big mistake. Not enough equipment for 45000 square ft gym. Only two of each. Two squat racks, two leg press, .., and just one leg curl machine. Had to wait for ever for one exercise machine and it wasnt even on a busy day. I also felt rushed on every machine. I got the usual: Are you almost done? How many more sets do you have? I gave up on the leg curl machine. To many people waiting for it. Poor lighting in the dumbel area. Old rusty equipment. Weights all over the floor. None of the employees on the gym floor. This is typical in all LAF. Just personnel traineers and their clients. Most of them were all just sitting around in there desk. Taking to each other on on the phone. All they care about is signing up new members. Probably the worst LAF. I only gave it two stars, because there was enough parking.

I have been an LA member, in various locations, since 2009. My husband and I were transferred to Palm Beach Gardens and I was happy to see a location in close proximity! This location, however, is atrocious! It works... but its gross! ALL the equipment is old and rusted, and no one seems to know how to use the sanitizer for cleaning the equipment! I have always gone 5 days a week no matter where the location, and in the 2 months Ive been going there Ive caught strep 3 times ( this 3rd time being the reason for my review). Its definitely not what I expected from LA fitness! I am very disappointed! Something needs to change!

Sauna is down, machines are broken. Really terrible service. They make houndreds of thousands of dollars a month off memberships and they dont even take care of the equipment. They have over 7000 members times 29 a month is 200,000 dollars they make a month. They should take of the people who pay memberships. You are better off at crunch or planet fitness. Or loggerhead fitness for gym memberships. If you go there you will waste your money

This location is one of their older locations but the equipment is very good. Theres always someone cleaning the equipment, better than what Ive seen at other locations. In fact, the best. It doesnt get too packed and wait time is minimal. The most interesting thing Ive noticed about this place is the overwhelming number of people that do deadlifts! This is my kind of gym.

Some real plusses. Its clean, spacious, and not too noisy. Better than Golds on those counts. Too bad though that the staff are mostly just doing a job. Eye contact with members is rare. You never see anyone advise a member whos using a piece of equipment badly. Golds branches always have a happy vibe by comparison.

Been double billing since day one. $170 Signup was charged twice to my card and every month an extra 32 is billed to my card. Notified the front desk three times, called gym management, phoned the central billing line and still no solution has been provided. Next step dispute with credit card. What a waste of time.

Overall I am pretty satisfied. The equipment is in good shape. The facility is clean. The cost of member ship is reasonable. The hours are great. There is a lot of socializing going on which can be good or bad depending on how serious you are about training. I am a member and I work out as often as I can.

I dont understand why this gym only has one rack of free bars. And I dont understand why it only has 2 flat benches so people have to wait and wait and wait for one to open up. Everything here is ass backwards.so far the Florida LA Fitness clubs suck compared to NY and CA.

Horrible kids club. Woman working the day care is horrible! Left my 4 month old crying in his car seat,never took him out. Dont trust your kids with her! Never bringing my kids to this location because of the daycare worker. Complained to manager and they do nothing!
