Should have read the reviews here before signing up... Cough Cough I mean before I was robbed at this YouFit location. I truly hope you guys change, because nobody likes being robbed. Nobody likes going to a gym where they were tricked. YouFit stands for more than what this location is demonstrating. YouFit, is actually a great business, with actual values that mean something. But you guys at this location mess all that up with dirty tactics. Anyway, this is to notify you we will not stay quiet about your dirty business practices. You make people sign a contract with a pad, meanwhile the actual contract is on a screen that only the salesperson (or in this case the lying nutritionist can see). Then out of trust people sign your contract. Then and only then we realize you guys actually create the contract with terms that differ form those discussed. You guys run a business with dirty business practices, which is a shame because other locations do not use the same dirty tactics you guys use. And clearly based on your reviews this happens a lot. You guys lie about the terms, and with training sessions, you guys mention certain terms that are outright lies. Because you make the terms up as you go. All with one goal.... To rob innocent people out of their money. And for what? To report back to corporate about all the members you have signed up. That means nothing when most members hate the location. Word is spreading about how this location doesnt keep their word, and eventually people will avoid this location. You might want to keep an eye out for the reviews you guys have online. They contain the truth and advice for you guys to apply in your day-to-day business operations. Hope you take the advice. P.S. the advice means putting the customer first, and being honest with them. Sincerely, Future LA Fitness member :)

Pros: New facility Great membership value Three squat racks! Never packed LOVE THE SETUP Cons: Their no bag policy is absurd. I have to carry my water bottle, gloves, straps, squat pad, gym log, towel, and God forbid I want to bring anything else. If you have to go to the restroom when you bring your gear, get ready to have full hands and nowhere sanitary to rest your IN USE items unless you go all the way downstairs to use a locker. Whats a locker good for if you want to USE the items you bring with you. ? Answer: NOTHING. Does anyone put anything in their locker other than work clothing anyway? A message to YouFit: I have been a gym goer for many years. The "benefit" you get from this absurd policy is dwarfed by the inconvenience you bare upon your customers. In over a decade I have NEVER seen someone "hurt" because a gym bag is on the floor. I have been a member of Golds, LA, and 24. They ALL have this rule for liability purposes, and not one has ever enforced it. You can CYA without being such an inconvenience to your customers. A little common sense would get you many 5 star ratings if you look at the reviews and actually take them to heart instead of your canned "its for your safety" bot replies. This is the only detractor from 5 stars and its a big one.

The gym looks great. Everything is new and nice. The staff is awful. They have this ridiculous "no bag" rule of any kind, even small ones. To make matters worse, I got into an argument with one of their staff members and they flagged my membership on the next trip. I had to show them my credit card which expires in 2018! They also asked me if I had a towel, something they had never done. I even saw their computer screen in bold red letters... That was it for me. I am not going back. It was a discouraging experience. They said I had to bring a lock but why would I put my stuff there if they themselves say they are not responsible for any items left in their own lockers?! So they expect their members to carry their keys, phone, water bottle, wallet, gloves, and towel in their pockets?!!! What if my workout shorts have no pockets, then what?!?!!? After our little argument I went up and counted at least another 6 people with bags. Go figure! I dont care how good the facility looks, if the staff is that bad and vindictive I wont be going back. 1 star was too much.

Wish there was an option for 0 star. Avoid this place. Go somewhere else where you will be treated like customer and not a criminal. I have been member for 2 years. Never had problem, until 3 weeks ago girl name Angelina or whatever her name is, wants to ID me, who takes wallets to GYM? Told her dont have my ID on me. Funniest thing is she wont let me enter gym without ID, she had me waiting outside like a criminal till I look for my ID photo in my phone. finally, I find my pic ID showed it to her. She had guts to tell I better bring my ID everytime if want to enter gym. Thats discrimination, harassment, racist. Whatever reason after that, she red flag me. I started getting harassing call from so called manager TIM. He should have looked into to matter and his camera before believing that gril story. Tim takes this matter even further tells his assistant manager Lori. Now every time I go. It doesnt matter who checks me in. Lori loves to come out of nowhere stops me ID me. THIS IS HARASSMENT!!!!

This gym as of my review date is very nice inside. Everything is brand new and clean but they also just opened a few months ago. Some things to be aware of when it come to YouFit are their rules are strictly enforced. No large water bottles (1gallon), No bags, must have gym towel and probably some more that I have not yet come across. The staff are tolerable. Nothing special and not overly friendly. Any time i have attempted to engage them in conversation they listen to you but is is obviously they dont care what your saying. There are often 2-4 of them standing at the front door at all times but do you think they can say goodbye to you when you leave? NO. They are too busy conversing with each other to notice the members who dont confront them to check in. Also avoid their personal trainer Andrew. This guy is only nice to you if you are paying him. I dont have experience with their other trainers to comment further.

They have the dumbest rule ever implemented at a gym and I have trained at many gyms just about in south Florida. The fact that you cant carry a bag, gym bag, or any type of bag for that matter is just stupid. They only implement is when its convenient for them. I have been training there since they opened sure enough one day they decided to implement the rule. Quoting, "its for safety reasons someone could trip or fall over a bag, However seeing half of the members walking around with their hands full towels, water bottles keys cell phones sweaters, gloves, etc and placing their items all over the floor is much safer then being left consolidated in a "gym bag".

Not that much equipment, no sauna, no pool, Ive been to better gyms but this ones alright. Some of the men are kind of annoying. I always wear a big baggy sweater when I go, I notice other women going there kind of dress like sloots, but I guess thats the worst part about anythings, the people. Other than that, they are only $10/month, but there is a $50 or $40 inscription fee. Its worth it, theres always classes and workers always come around cleaning the equipment and theres even coaches and classes. Wish there was more place and less people, but this place gets a 4 out of 5 stars from me. Could be much better, but the workers are all just so great.
