Hi, I am writing this review to let others know to NOT use this gym! I signed up, all seemed fine, could be a little crowded with so many people using the free weights, but it was ok for the price...and they also keep the place really hot, it felt like they were trying to save money on the AC bill. The real problem I had is when i went to cancel my membership because I was moving out of state and there were no Youfit gyms by where I was moving. I went in, in June, and told the young lady at the desk that I was moving and she informed me that I would have to pay for an additional month of use and then that would be it! Seems easy enough, right? Well, I paid my month and then expected everything would be fine, because I had spoken to an employee, and they are trained to know what to do/say when someone decides to cancel! Boy was I wrong! They have my account info and they have charged me 35$ + 10.60 +52$ + 20.60$ = 118.00$ So, I called and asked why there were these charges and they said they are for the, year fee, and a bounce back payment fee, and the month membership fee, and a fee for the fee! I explained my situation to the asst. manager and she didnt care! She was rude, told me that there was no evidence that I came in, even though I moved on July 2nd and didnt visit the gym after June 28th, she said her employees are trained and they would never make that mistake so it must be that I didnt come in or tell them to cancel! she told me that they would just keep charging my account, and that if i dont pay "IT WILL GO TO COLLECTIONS!" she was extremely rude and dismissive of anything thing I said! She would talk over me, and dismiss any reasonable response I had to her questions. The most deplorable customer service I have experienced in a long, long time! I explained to her that I would be glad to pay for the last month (july) and the cancel fee(10.00$) but thats all im paying as I havent lived in Florida for over TWO months! She said nope, and they were gonna keep charging my bank account. I now have a stop payment for Youfit. I now have to close my bank account and open a new one because they want all of the fees and all of the months even though I have not been to the gym since June! DO NOT JOIN YOUFIT! you will regret it, bad customer service, ignorant employees, and they take your bank account number instead of your CC so that they can charge you incessantly! DO NOT JOIN YOUFIT! go to planet fitness or lifetime! ANY OTHER PLACE BUT YOUFIT!!!

I looked into a few different gyms before I signed up at YouFit Hollywood. Ive been a member now for exactly two years so I feel I can now write a fair review. Cleanliness: this gym is an At. The bathrooms are spotless and they keep the floor and machines very clean. The maintenance people at this gym are also extremely nice and always busy cleaning. Front desk: they keep busy yet are always cordial and do their best to get you in the door as fast as possible. Trainers: always friendly and willing to help you and give you advice if you ask. Other gym goers: I have met so many people at this gym. Everyone I have met has truly been nice, encouraging, fun and positive. It makes it such a pleasure to work out there. Price: at $10 a month, this is unbeatable. Especially considering that this gym has all the equipment you need to get a decent workout. Equipment: squat rack, bench press, heavy duty leg press, machines and treadmills. All the basics are here and its usually all in working order. I have enjoyed this gym very much. Its excellent and if you have fitness goals and the motivation to reach them, this is a great place to start. Ive been amazed at how much Ive bettered myself and I am grateful for such a great gym where I could make my goals reality. Put your headphones blast some music and everyone leaves you alone so you could enjoy your workout. Cant beat it.

We were members for over 2 years. We went to work out many times but it was too crowded with young people using it as a meeting place. Evenually, we decided to cancel and join elsewhere. The trouble began. They wouldnt cancel us over the phone and demanded we come in. When we stopped by weeks later, they wouldnt retro-act our cancellation to our original phone call but to this date, 7-6-16 when we were at the gym. They demanded $10 from each of us (my wife and I) to cancel the account calling it processing fees. Our monthy contract started on the 14th of the month. we cancelled at the gym on the 6th. They charged our credit card for the month of July stating they couldnt stop their billing. However, they refuse to refund the months charge for both of us. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company to refund the additional charges and block any new charges from them. They are unscrupulous and do not respond for assistance. I will never join them again. My advice; it is a crowded, loud gym. Do not give them your credit card for billing. They will take advantageous and you will not be happy!

-10 Stars! THIS REVIEW IS VERY SIMILAR TO MANE I READ HERE, BUT I DIDNT PAY ATTENTION TO THEM, BEWARE!!!!!!! Member for over two years at two different locations the trouble began when i decided to cancel my membership. They wouldnt cancel it over the phone and demanded me to come in. They charged my bank account for the month of february stating they couldnt stop their billing since invoices had already been generated, but this is not all, membership annual fee was supposed to be billed after may 2017 and they charged my BA with the annual fee as well STEALING ME $42.39. However, they refuse to refund the month already charged nor the annual fee. They are unscrupulous and do not respond for assistance. I will never join them again. My advice; it is a crowded, loud gym. Do not give them your Bank Account for billing they are THIEVES.

Very disgusted with how nasty that place is. Been a member for 2 weeks now because of the convenience of the location from my home. People that use the equipment there hop from one machine to the next without cleaning up after themselves leaving sweat, drool, and germs. That youfit location solution is Windex with a mixture of fragrance and water is how that place cleans up their equipment. Well I went on a Friday and ended up getting the flu a few hours later. I wont be going to that location anymore and people......I suggest bringing Clorox wipes before you touch anything in that place. Also wanted to add from previous notes people stating that place is clean.......that may be the case but not when its 200+ people inside because when a piece of equipment is free someone jumps on it immediately.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP!!!!!!! Poor business skills & customer service!!!! "DONT SIGN UP WITH YOUFIT THEY WIILL ROB YOU OF YOUR MONEY" YOULL FIND OUT THE HARD WAY LIKE ME... Youfit care about the money not the customer. "Dont get tricked" I signed up for a year at the $10 a month plan then charged me all most about $40 annual fee & after 11 months they stared charging me $15.90 then to cancel charged me another $25 fee for cancellation Just to resign up for the special they were running at $115 for the year!! The staff are NOT properly trained. When you call the 800 number it sends you to a Youfit location to staff thats not properly trained or dont know the polices. Its hard to get in contact with anyone from there corporate office!!!!
