I would not recommend 1/2 Price Plumbing. 1/2 Price Plumbing was engaged to assist in re-plumbing a shower that was being renovated. They were paid in full for the service which was in no way at a discounted rate. After the shower renovation was complete and the shower head and handles installed, no water was flowing. 1/2 Price Plumbing was contacted and indicated there would be a $100 service charge to diagnose the problem. Upon arrival, the Plumber removed the shower handle, and turned two shut off screw valves that he had installed, but never bothered to reveal. He replaced the handle and insisted on payment of $100.00. A reputable plumbing contractor would have disclosed installing two shut off screw valves at the time the job was completed, and at the very least, disclosed this over the telephone. In lieu of disclosing the placement of the screws, the plumber chose to come out, spend approximately 30 seconds of time, and charge $100.00.

I needed a plumber to install a gas line for a barbecue and double sided burner for outside use for a Natural gas application. The install was done cleanly and with professional "PRESS-FIT" tools, non-corrosive straps, and the way the job was contracted. The man, Matt was exceptional, explaining that he found a better way to do the additional water drainage work that was also contracted for at the same time as the gas line. He spoke with the staff at his employ, and with there help determined a cheaper way to do the plumbing and gave me a credit against my bill of 75 dollars. OMG, who does that??? Not only will I use 1/2 price plumbing again, but anyone in need of HONEST working people need this company will hear my cry. USE THESE GUYS.

We had Half Price Plumbing worked in our new home as we suspected the previous owners didnt take care their pipes right, you could notice the water was draining slow and eventually the pipes filled up. HPP helped us out in every way possible, including financially. They didnt break our bank as we thought it might have been with other plumbing companies. Matt, the technician that came to our home, was very friendly and you can notice he loved his job, he seemed very dedicated. He helped us out every way he could. We could not have been any happier with his approach. He genuinely wanted to give us the best price possible. He even helped me to get a stuck little screw out of my food disposer. We were quoted a great price for installing a toilet I purchased online at Home Depot. Installation was completed within 1 hour (which was fantastic) and the installer was very kind and informative. Regarding the work itself, the old toilet was removed and carefully placed inside the new toilets box to prevent a mess. The new toilet was installed and the flow was adjusted. Finally, the bottom of the toilet was grouted to the floor and everything was cleaned up. They even took the old toilet which saved me from dragging it out for bulk trash. By the time they were done, everything looked just the way they found it. Its nice to see the good reviews are justified. These guys are great. Ill definitely be using them again.

This company was highly recommended by my family and best friend. They just completed the work at my home in Hallandale Beach, FL. I’m so happy with their work, responsiveness and professionalism. Weve been using 1/2 Price Plumbing for at least 12 years after a friend recommended them. Weve always gotten good, timely service. They have re-plumbed at least one bathroom, replaced two water heaters, snaked our pipes a couple of times and replaced pipes in our backyard. When our kitchen had a major leak from an old pipe, and destroyed our kitchen floor and cabinets, they were here right away to help, and figured out where the leak was and fixed it right away. I dont hesitate to recommend them. I like that they are a family owned company and really care about their customers.

One of the commodes had been sluggish, time for a plumber. Came to google, called 1/2 Price, Gary (owner) politely answered all questions I had, made an appt for later same day, I was running late had to pick up my son, came home let Mike (tech) in to start work, went back to pick up my son returned in 20 minutes, he was done. Mike showed me the problem, hair in the drain line. I wasnt here. I could have been told anything... Thats called a company with integrity. Enough said.

I had 1/2 Price Plumbing come out for a stopped drain and to replace some bathroom fixtures. It turned out to be more time consuming than I had thought. The fixtures were old and hard to remove and the stoppage was more difficult to clean out. The plummer did a professional job and was on time. The price quoted was about 20% lower than another companys estimate but most important was that they did it right. I highly recommend 1/2 Price and will use them again.

I have had 1/2 Price Plumbing come out for 2 different issues in the last month. They were able to easily diagnose and repair a drain issue and a kitchen sink issue. I am very satisfied with their quality of work and professionalism. Their scheduling was easily able to accommodate my familys busy schedule. 1/2 Price Plumbing was a referral from my neighbors and now I would happily refer them to anyone who needs a Plumber. Our kitchen sink was clogged and despite my best efforts with the tools I had (I too am a Plumber) I could not breakthrough an obstruction in the line. Brian came out on a Saturday afternoon, ran his drain cleaner through the drain and now we are back in business! So, from one Plumber to another great job 1/2 Price Plumbing!

So far I give them five stars for customer service and following through. I will post again after the job is done. "Another" company gave me pricing and I called several times for them to start the job with no response. 1/2 Price gave me an estimate (which really was 1/2 price) and followed up with additional service I would need to complete my plumbing work. Love, love, love Paul right now.
