PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS IF YOURE CONSIDERING THIS PLACE FOR YOUR CHILD! PLEASE! I have to be honest about this facility and im so sorry its long review but this information needs to be posted! I just have to be flat out honest. Ive been waiting for my son to leave this La Petite so I could write this review and today is finally the first day he is finally out of there! I FINALLY found a GREAT daycare for my son. Looking at previous reviews below, YES IT IS TRUE, THEY WRITE THEIR OWN REVIEWS! Look at another review down below, Im not the only one whos mentioned this! Ex: Cathy Robinson who happens to be the current Director at this La Petite and posted her own review 4 months ago!! No where in her review does she mention that shes the current director! How do I know this? SHE PUT HER PHOTO UP NEXT TO HER OWN REVIEW! Cathy is a decent woman but hardly ever speaks. She isnt consistent with the information she provides, ever. I hardly ever got a response from her when I picked up my son, as if she just, wasnt interested in getting to know some of the parents. My son attended La Petite for about 3 years and the experience wasnt the best. Within these 3 years, 3 directors have been assigned to the facility which appears to be a high turnover rate for management. For months we were providing my sons own milk considering he has milk allergies when we were told later by a staff member that the facility was to provide his milk! I feel bad for the staff and what I mean by that, is because La Petite requires them to do their job by caring for these children all day long and then expects them to do maid duties! The facility isnt the cleanest but I will say some of the staff try their best to keep things clean. My sons new daycare facility has their own cleaning crew though. The staff just looks so tired, and some, not all of them, do have the best of intentions with these children. Ive seen so many staff members come and go in this place its unfortunate. Ive even heard management talk down to members of staff as well! 2 weeks ago, there was a fundraiser fee attached to the weekly daycare balance and when asked of staff what the fundraiser was for, no one could give an answer since THEY didnt even know! Arent fundraisers supposed to be voluntary?! Theres no organization within this place. None. If youre 15 minutes late to pick up your child or late making your weekly payment, $30 late fee which cant be removed due to the "system" LIE! Previous directors had done it before for me in emergency cases. I had a friend who took her children to this facility and because she was qualified for the income vouchers, she was NEVER charged a late fee. This same friend of mine pulled BOTH of her kids out of this daycare because they told her they were being BULLIED! The WORST PART, my son would come home with scraps, bite marks from other children and sometimes bruises!! WITH NO INCIDENT REPORT FILLED OUT WHATSOEVER! Cathy Robinson(current director) nor the staff could provide an answer as to what exactly happened! I understand these are children and yes, things happen cause theyre children, but no incident report?!?!!!! So yes, my son would come home with scraps, bruises, and bite marks from other children with NO EXPLANATION on paper! Theres no cameras in the facility either though Cathy says that the installment of cameras are a "work in progress." I should have known something was wrong when I even had to SCHEDULE a tour of the facility initially and everything seemed decent but wow, talk about playing the part. My sons new daycare just told us to come right in and there was no need to schedule a tour. I hate to bash this place but I was just fed up with this facility and just couldnt take another day! But to be fair, there is just literally a few staff members that really care for these children and do their best day in and out and I cant appreciate them enough! I could keep going on and on about this place but please know if you want the best for your child, make this particular La Petite at this location your last option!

From the moment I walked into this La Petite location, it just felt right. I visited many Day Cares before choosing this location. The teachers, the Director and the entire staff are just a bunch of great people who enjoy what they are doing and obviously care about the children that attend La Petite and their families. My son started attending around 4 months of age. Initially, he was going part-time while spending some time with his grandmother. I appreciated the flexibility in having the part-time option available until we were ready to transition to full-time. I loved that there were no bouncy chairs and things of that nature and that the infants were allowed to spend some good quality time on the floor exploring toys and every corner of the room. I loved the attention they got from all their teachers. It made it so much easier to drop my son off in the morning on my way to work. He initially seemed to have some challenges as demonstrated by his frequent frowns in pictures, but the teachers continued to work with him. They encouraged his enjoyment of class and tried to get him engaged while reassuring me he was adjusting. He tends to observe others quite a bit so for a few months he was a little intense, but now hes all smiles and giggles and just loves his teachers. As a new mom with very little previous experience with children, I am always thankful for their patience and the support they give me as a mom. Im on a bit of a learning curve with how much food my son needs (among other things) and just when to transition him to the next step in the self-feeding process. They have been tremendously helpful in sharing with me what he does at day care and just how much he eats. I remember when he would get so fussy with me after a couple spoonfuls of baby food. Silly me thought he was struggling with this new phase of eating, but he was just hungry. Realized that after I saw how many jars of baby food he was putting away at Day Care. Im sure it can be tough asking parents the right questions to remain in alignment with each childs development so theyre ready when the time comes to transition to the next classroom, so I really appreciate everything they do to share their insight helping me be a better Mom. I would recommend this day care to anyone. Love, love, love everything they do to take such good care of my son!

I hate to bash a facility but I have to be honest. I believe this location writes their own reviews, there is no way any parent in their right mind would give this location more than a 1 star review. When you walk in, you can tell that the place is not sanitary. And I even saw one of the staff (high school age girls) slightly lose her temper while trying to put a newborn to sleep. The rates are high as if it is a high end facility but this facility is dirty. They do not have a curriculum and by the time I went to pick my child up- she had the look up desperation that Ive never seen before. I gave the daycare a few weeks and my daughter was angry and miserable every time I went to pick her up. The girls there try to seem nice but there seems to be an underlying mean streak in them. Its just something I sense as a parent. One of the girls seems genuinely nice but she wasnt there as often. I beg you (as a parent) visit facilities like Kids R Kids or Its Kidz Time of Riverview to see what a properly run daycare looks like. You wouldnt even think about sending your child to La Petite after seeing these well run facilities. I thank God everyday they had an opening for my baby (it was really a fluke). They are so good that they typically have waiting lists so try to get a head start so that you dont have to settle like I did. The final thing I didnt like was that the kids there were filthy. The staff dont care about your kids. Maybe the older women but not the younger girls who are watching your kids most of the time. The new daycare Im in has virtual cams where I can login and see my daughter all day long. They have an excellent curriculum and they always greet and say good bye to my baby with enthusiasm everyday. Please listen to my warning or look at this daycare for yourself and use wisdom before placing your baby here.
