Im not one to complain but after the experience Ive just gone through(and still am) it is just unacceptable on many levels. After my package coming from California was delayed due to severe weather(granted thats an acceptable excuse) my package was to be delivered 6/30 at a ups access point (typically by 1pm). 1pm came and went and even as the shop was closing at 7pm the UPS truck STILL wasnt there. At this point I call ups customer care to get my package sent to their main warehouse that day so at least I can get it myself knowing that 8pm their main office closes but was informed that I would be able to still get it by 8:30 pm. I get a "missed call" from their place that rang once to my phone and no voicemail was left and head over. I get to their office at 8:15 (15 minutes before their closing time and all gates are locked). I was then told by a ups truck driver to try and go around the back to the guard gate because they were still in office and should be able to walk through and get my package. I go around and explained my situation to which the guard was VERY helpful and said "oh they locked up before 8:30? It is Friday so thats probably why" and proceeds to walk through to try and get my package only to come back empty handed. Stating that the manager with the key already locked the office up and I would be able to get in tomorrow at 8:30am the next day. (At this point I was supposed to be leaving to go out of town and had to delay my trip for the morning because of these circumstances). I decide to verify their opening times and saw it was actually 10am that I could get my package and go in then. To which I was told by en employee that they "forgot to give me a call" telling me that my package is in a holding container and tracking down the key would be a needle in the haystack to get and I would have to get it Monday. So I STILL do not have my package and now have to wait till Wednesday when I return from out of town to get my package that I went through 4 different calls to support and 3 different trips, only to come back empty handed. Sorry for the novel but this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE on so many levels to make a customer go through THIS much run around over a single package that was expected to be delivered the next day to a ups access point.

The UPS systems (and personnel) belong in Bizzaro World!! We receive and ship numerous packages on a regular basis. Apparently a third party issued a request to have UPS to pick up a package at our office. Without knowing which package to give him, I asked the driver to tell me to whom the package was to go. He didnt know. All he knew was that his dispatcher issued a pickup order. The driver, our regular friendly UPS delivery man, suggested we call the dispatcher who issued the pickup order. As the telephone hold time was long, he could not wait. The dispatcher had no information where or to whom the package was destined. UPS had no paper work. no tracking number, nor bill of lading. When asked him to check who issued the pickup request, he became incensed and reiterated that UPS did not have the information nor was it their responsibility to have such information. He insisted it was our responsibility and that we needed to contact the person who issued the pickup order and have them send us the proper documentation; after which we needed to call UPS to schedule a pickup (and pay a pickup charge). DUH! Exactly who are we to contact? I was getting dizzy from going in circles. How is it possible for such stupidity to exist? How can UPS send a driver to pick up a package without knowing the name and/or address of the individual who issued the request? It is beyond belief! Who employs people to dream up these Catch 22 systems? And what kind of incompetent management personnel does UPS employ to support such incompetence? That is why we ship our parcels with the United States Postal Service!

Please correct your customer service. I waited all day for my very important package to arrive, sitting in my living room the whole time so I can see out the front window right next to the front door. The tracking said it was delivered at 5:41 PM, however there was no package and no note. My husband contacted customer service and they insisted the driver dropped off at our house and sent the driver back to speak to us. The driver never came to our house, although the next morning my husband went around the corner to the next street to speak to the people who have the same house number as us and the surrounding neighbors of that house and they said there was a UPS driver at that house looking around the bushes. Im not sure how their GPS works but they were on the wrong road. He is supposed to come back today and I sincerely hope he comes to the right house this time. The customer service rep then continued to argue with me that the driver did stop at our house when it was very clear that he didnt, especially considering he was looking around the wrong yard the night before. Off the record, it is very sad that people dont have enough decency to bring a package to the right address after it gets dropped off at their house instead. I understand that mistakes happen, but cmon people...at least take the package to the right person.

I could not believe what the ladies up front accused me of. White lady - I couldnt get her name because she turned around right away when I raised my voice. You would be to when someone accused you of opening a package. I returned a package that was delivered to my house that didnt belong to me. It has someone elses name on the box. Since UPS hasnt picked it up for 5 days - I drove it myself. The white lady accused me of opening the package - that its my fault. WHAT????? Im returning the package so UPS can send this to the right people. The package looked damaged. How is that my fault. What can Brown do for you??? Not a &$@! thing. I was expecting - sir, thank you for driving this package to us or you didnt have to drive it here - we could have picked it up. I left UPS feeling like I stole something, unbelievable. Customer service needs a little re-calibrating there. Goodness. I will have to throw away a mislabeled package mailed to me if I have to go through that scenario again.

Unfortunately Im terrible at remembering names but UPS will know his name he just took over the route to Palm Beach Country Estates off Donald Ross Rd in Palm Beach Gardens I have received numerous packages thru him. He knows when I get home and if Im running late I know hes still on the job and have been able to track him down so he doesnt have to do a second delivery I cant say enough good words about this man but here are just a few. Kind, Always greets me with a smile, dedicated, hard working, some of my packages weigh 34 lbs. has ethics, always neat looking A proud example of the United Parcel Service. Im nominating him for Employee of the Year, Can I please get a second nomination. Thank You for having this man .in you employment. There seems to be so few Big companies that really want to have a good customer relationship . Thanks for being that Company. Regards Clifford B.
