I bought in my car for a paint job and met Mike and Ed are who helped me through the process. My car is very special to me and has so much meaning. After going over a few details with Mike we finally got an estimate on new paint for my car and started painting right away. They told me that it wold take a week and to come back following week to pick up. These guys went above and beyond to get the car sanded down to bare metal so they cold put a beautiful paint job on it. The car has been in the family for sometime now and really needed a lot of help.There were holes in the paint along with tremendous fading from years of exposure to the florida sun. The paint was not salvageable at all. It was pitch black and we were going to paint it a beautiful Oolong gray metallic. The car was a retired fleet vehicle and had a lot of history in my life. Finally got the call to pick it up on Tuesday and headed straight there after work. When I got there is was blown away. The paint was absolutely beautiful. The only issue was they did not take the Antenna off for of the roof and instead just replaced it on the hood. After speaking to Ed he told me that he would take care of it and just to schedule another visit for them to take care of eliminating the antenna on roof of car. Other than that the whole job was pretty easy to go through and great communication between the team and I. I would highly recommend anyone to take there vehicle to Maaco as they care how there jobs come out and how you feel about it. God bless these guys and all the hard work they put into the car. I will recommend that if you bring it in make sure you cover up the car on the inside as dust will settle and you may have to wipe it down when you recieved it. Ive been blessed to meet these guys and hav3 them paint my car at a reasonable price and putting 110% effort into making it beautiful for me and my family. Ed has advised me to bring the car back to take care of the elimination of that antenna so I will write another review once I go through that procedure. Paint job quality is top of the line. No drips, even coverage throughout the sides and very shiny finish using the urethane paint with mixed clear. I will follow up this review with some time to let all know how the paint holds up after 6 months and a year. Stay tuned. God bless.

I took my car here while shopping body shops in Sarasota and Bradenton to repair a ding and a puncture on my cars bumpers. Out of the three shops I visited, Maaco gave me the lowest estimate. What really impressed me, however, was the great service of Edmundo and his team. Edmundo was incredibly helpful, honest, and up front - after showing him my car, he used his computer to determine exactly how many hours the job would require, how those hours would be spent, and how they totaled up to the estimated price, something the other two shops I visited didnt bother doing. His team had my car ready before the estimated completion time despite my dropping off the car in the late afternoon, and they even washed it! The exterior looks brand new now, even though I had put off getting this done for about a year and a half. For paint, dings, and punctures, I highly recommend Edmundo and his team at the Maaco Collision Repair on 1570 N. Washington Blvd.!

I had my 2012 VW CC serviced at your collision repair facility at 1570 N. Washington Blvd, Sarasota, FL 34236. I had a damage to the bumper. When I brought my vehicle in Mr. Edmundo Lacayo was able to give a written estimate in minutes. He clearly explained what parts are needed, how long the repair will last etc. When I explained to him that I cannot be without my vehicle for extended period of time he was able to let me drive the car without the bumper. He had the bumper repaired in days and my vehicle was delivered as promised without any delay. I am very appreciative of Ed and his team. I am thankful to the MAACO team at Sarasota. This is my third trip here and I always come back here for the excellent value and dedication of your team there. Keep up the good work.

You can call around, look around, and read reviews of the body shops in Sarasota, but none compare to the quality, professionalism, and pricing of Maaco. The general manager, Mike, was extremely friendly and patient. The staff was friendly and experienced. My 2003 Tacoma needed body work and the paint was horrendous. He walked me through all of the options and pricing. Mike called with updates throughout the process just to let me know how it was going. Now my truck looks amazing, and I get comments about it everywhere I go. As if that were not enough, the staff at Maaco got the entire job done under budget and deadline, and the entire job is under warranty. I could not be happier with their work and I would recommend them to anyone.

My 2002 BMW Z4 was badly in need of a paint job. Not only was the paint peeling in several places, but someone had attempted to repair an area on the hood, leaving a thick blob of black paint. There were also nicks along the side, the headlight covers were cloudy, and the gaskets around the windshield were cracked. Mikes estimate for repairs and paint was less than half of two others I had received! He and Ed are true professionals who coordinated a spectacular job. My car looks like new and has drawn several "Wows" wherever Ive gone. Dealing with Maaco was a pleasure, and I am elated with the service and finished product. Thanks so much, Mike and Ed, for giving me back my beautiful car!

This was an excellent experience in every way. Estimator Shaun Waters was friendly and professional and patiently answered all my questions at our first meeting and after the completed paint job. The Manager, Ed Lacayo, (who is also bilingual in English & Spanish!) was also extremely courteous, professional and responsible and made sure that every detail was taken care of to my satisfaction when I picked up the car. At my request they also took out a few dings and scratches and applied their top paint job which makes this 2003 Sebring Convertible look brand new!!! I couldnt be happier. Thanks to you & your team for your excellent work!

20 years of no garage and Florida sun destroyed the hood and roofs clearcoat on my Volvo. Read all the great reviews and decided to take it to maaco. When I got the car back, I barely recognized it! Paint match was perfct to the eye, and they even painted the mirrors, which were starting to bubble. They also clean up the interior free of charge. The staff is extremely caring and nice. They really made my car look new again. The only reason Im rating 4 stars is due to the fact that there is a minor paint run on the top of the fender, which can be easily repaired. I would highly recommend.

Okay. I did something really stupid with my car; it happened over the weekend and I couldnt wait till Monday to find a place to fix it. I was on Rt 301 [Sarasota FL] trying to find an autobody shop. Before I added more damage to my car I pulled over, Googled, and found Maaco and it had a 5 star rating. Worth a try. I just added my 5 stars. Edmundo fixed my car; he took time from his obviously busy day to stop and fixed my car. And was far more reasonable in his bill than I had expected. Okay. Im impressed. I dont wish that you have a dented car, but if you do, go to Maaco.
