I cant believe how bad this was. I dont know if the good reviews are coming from family friends or something but do yourself a favor and avoid this place. This morning I went in for an alignment. I was informed needed some extra work and a tire rod which I was happy to pay for. However, when I left, I took exactly 3 turns (the U turn in Nebraska, the left in Fowler and a right on 30th) for me to realize that my turning signals were down. Now, I am trying to be as fair as I can here by saying the work that was done in my car and the turn signal switch are unrelated. Nevertheless, the fact remains that this never-EVER happened before until the car went in their shop. The gentleman at the front desk was quite uninterested of my concerns when I called him about it and when I went back to the shop. He was very quick to remind me that my car is old and that I already had some electrical issues with the A/C fan and the window wipers, the latter being a common problem with my type of car. I do not deny my car is old but the man proceeded to say it was a coincidence. Which I am not sorry to find as an unsatisfactory answer. Furthermore, and I am NOT saying this was their intention, but that very suggestion and lack of interest and/or customer service made me feel as if I was being perceived as somebody who just wanted to get their service for free or something of the like. Which is why I did not ask for a refund or any further help and decided to leave after he gave me an estimate of how much it would be to fix this new issue.

So I went to Running Great about 2 months ago to get an inspection and quote as to what needs to be done and how much it would be. The results were: 1) all ball bearings need replacing 2) front brakes need to be changed 3) 3 new tires the total was about $1850 My dad saw the quote and said get everything except get 1 tire to be put on for now instead of 3. Tell them to put the two newest tires on the front. (1 6 months old, 1 brand new) So when I went back to Running Great, I told the head mechanic, "I need front brakes done, all ball joints replaced and 1 tire and put those 2 newer tires on the front. He said something like: "So youre doing what we recommended?" Like an idiot, I said yes because in essence it was what they recommended instead of him repeat everything back to me. When I came back that afternoon, I noticed there were 3 new tires on my truck with the 6 month old one on the back. I asked why and he said thats what I told him. Moral of the story is that Im giving this place a 1/5 because if I say specifically that I want "1 new tire and that tire rotated to the front with the 6 month old tire," I actually expect that. Why would he ask me if I wanted do what they recommended if I explained for the prior minute what I needed. To me it seemed like a cloudy way of getting away with extra business and making it look like its what I asked for. Also wish I received a courtesy call to tell me my truck was done since I killed 9 hours in the new Tampa area.

After 20 years of dreaming, I bought the car from those very dreams. 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible. Most of my experience with mechanic shops has been very dry and always left me feeling incomplete - worried that Im not working with the right team, worried that things werent done right, and unhappy that Ive paid too much. Running Great Auto has taken excellent care of my vehicle and has taken the time to discuss every little detail with me, as well as respond to my every little question. When you work with Running Great Auto, you just know that you are dealing with an experienced team of professionals that will take all possible considerations with your vehicle, your mind, and your wallet. Ive been pleased with the quality and thoroughness of service as well as the pricing of *everything* they have done for me. Big or small, mechanical or cosmetic, new car or classic muscle car, I trust the care of my vehicles to Running Great Auto.

Ive been going to Running Great for almost five years with several cars. The staff there are always friendly and give you an honest assessment of your car before performing services. They tell you what should be fixed now versus what can be put off until later. They are top notch all around, if I had to give one complaint it would only be they need minor improvements in their Saturday hours as 1pm is a little early to close and turn over time as sometimes your car could take all day to fix if the queue is long. Overall they are committed to making customers for life and not trying to push a quick buck. I will continue to take my cars there for years to come.

Absolutely horrid experience. I dropped my car off at 8:30 AM Monday to get PCV Valve cover replaced, they never called once until Thursday, and I had to call them to get daily checkups. Come Thursday and they still never got the very popular STOCK Nissan parts in so they had no progress in the car 4 days in. I went and moved my car to another shop who had all parts in stock instead. Terrible communication and very rude. The owner even said, "at this point Id rather you take your car to another shop" after I called for the 4rth daily checkup in the car.

I have been going to Running Great since the early 1990s. They have taken great care of every car Ive ever owned: 1981 Ford Mustang, 1992 Mercury Cougar, 2000 Ford Taurus, 2006 Saturn Vue. I tend to keep my cars a long time and Running Great is the only place I trust to perform quality maintenance and repairs at prices I can afford. The staff and mechanics are all great. Chris B is the best!

Those guys refused to replace my 2008 Hyundai Sonatas timing chain and said Hyundais were too problematic for that and they just dont want to get into it. Thats a weird thing to hear from a mechanic. Whats the point of being a good mechanic if youre going to be picky. Its like being an oncologist who would say "Sorry I only treat flu cases, trying to treat cancer is too risky for me."

Running Greats body shop did a restoration to my 97 Jeep Cherokees body and trim. Glen, Bobby and the rest of the staff in the body shop at Running Great far exceeded my expectations with their superior craftsmanship. There is no doubt their workmanship is done with pride and customer satisfaction is a priority. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend Running Great Auto.
