Horrible dry cleaners, dirty shop with a rude owner! I was new to St. Augustine and looking for a new cleaners so I stopped by 199 thinking they would have decent prices. When you first walk inside the place is cramped and disorganized, but I talked to the owner he seemed like a nice enough guy and dropped my stuff off. When I received my blanket back, it had been ruined, this was my favorite quilt and Id had it dry cleaned before with no problems. However when it was returned, the material was now stiff, there were small stains on the edges and the stuffing on the inside had been bunched up and was bumpy beyond repair. When I brought this up with owner he was rude, aggressive and stubborn. He refused to admit any fault, and wouldnt even reimburse the cost of dry cleaning it. So now Im left with a ruined blanket. I will never go back to this cleaners again, the management is rude and unhelpful, and the quality of work done is horrible.

Very good service gentleman goes over your clothes with you so you can show him where the stains are. I had a dress I bought used with a small stain on the front he explained the stain had set and may not come out. He was right it did not. However I appreciated his honesty. I dropped off a white flowered dress with yellow stains under the arms and he removed the stains dress looks new. His prices are very reasonable.
