while I was extremely happy with my experience at the brow center and shopping the store the check-out left much to be desired. First off they were understaffed, I was not impatient but began to get that way after listening to the young clerk talking to the young people in front of me all were 18 years old, two young ladies and a young man who was interested in working there, the clerk proceeded to tell him how to apply for a job and began to whisper, yeah, like I couldnt hear. this entire transaction took about 7-10 minutes, no biggie, i loved the fact that she was giving all kinds of discounts to someone who was spending $14.00,she remarked how she was giving her a $3.00 coupon.When it was my turn...the clerk barely said hi, I had to engage her to ask my phone number for my rewards points. She never did ask if I had any coupons or offer me the discounts she did the young girls or the samples or free gift. Yes Im a senior and spent $140.00 on mascara and a few other things, thinking of finding a new place to shop. SENIORS matter too, I would have liked a discount as well as some free samples of products. Ulta, retrain your employees please.

If I could rate a zero or negative number I would. This review is for the salon located inside of Ulta. I called this morning to make an appointment for my eyebrows with their Brow Bar. I was told they were open until 8pm, and since I work late in Jacksonville and wouldnt be back in St. Augustine until close to 7pm, I was given the option of making an appointment for 7:20 or 7:40pm. I made my appointment for 7:40pm with Stephanie. When I showed up for the appointment I was told everyone from the salon had left for the day but I could call tomorrow and make an appointment. Seriously?!!?! Ulta has lost my business indefinitely.

Go to Ulta Salon in St Aug and see Lisa the Salon Manager. She is amazing ! I wanted to change my hair color completely which is not an easy task. She invited me for a complimentary consultation so we could talk about what I wanted and then we booked my appt. What hair stylists care enough to do that !? Lisa is a color master. She gave it fantastic depth, tones and highlights. The color came out better than I had hoped and the cut was perfect ! I am a raving and passionate fan of Lisas and Ulta Salon, St Augustine.

My family surprised me with a "makeover during our family vacation....... totally out of my comfort zone!! But I must say...my experience with the Salon at Ulta was awesome!!! Celeste was the most wonderful stylist I have ever met!! Not only is she an artist, she knows her products, and what they can do. She made me feel 20 years younger!!! She even did my make-up (which I dont usually wear). When I returned to the condo....the ooohs and ahhhs were music to my ears!!! Thank you Celeste for a WONDERFUL job!!

I love ULTA and shopping for beauty products but this store needs to work on their customer service. They do not greet you upon entering and turn a blind eye when you need help. When you do need help it seems like you are bothering them. Maybe I have just encountered the wrong salespeople but I have not yet had an enjoyable experience at this location. Considering driving 40 minutes away to another location just to have much better customer service.

I love Ulta and the selection it carries, however, its always very difficult to find someone on floor to help, this is every Ulta, not just this particular store. It seems they could use a few more staff members. The prices are a bit high and they have a rewards program but Ive never really gotten anything out of it, not sure what it does.
