We were at the south tampa store getting dinner before the Lightning game this past Thursday. It was quite busy at the time, but the line was moving along until we got to the front and it was our turn to place our order...all the cashiers just disappeared. Not one said, oh Ill be right back or anything?? Found it really strange and there was still quite a line behind us too for 3 cashiers just to hop off? My husband even said something to me and he never complains! Finally, after about 5 minutes, the cashiers on our left said to me...is there something you need mam? Of course there was something I needed...I needed to place our order after now 15 minutes. She was very slowly ow and seemed confused? I still couldnt tell what was going on? The one young man finally came back to his post, but never acknowledged that he left in the middle of a supper rush and never apologized to anyone? I usually do have problems at the St. Pete 4th st. location, too and wont go back there. Ive never been to this local, so it looks as if this location is just as bad. The St. Pete beach location is very good and everyone there is right on with their customer service and taking care of the customers. You should learn a few things from them! Very, very disappointed!

This is the absolute worst ever Chick-fil-a I have been to . . . Their policies are always different from all the other Chick-fil-a. Once, I went in with the yearly Cow Calendar cards to order for my family, and the guy behind the counter said he had to go out to my car and count my children! And he did!! My husband couldnt believe it, ridiculous. Ive never had a Chickfila treat us like that. Another time we ordered a special holiday catering tray they offered, and when we came to pick it up they said that it was a mis-print on the door sign and that they were only offering 1 option and not the 3 options posted--one of which we had ordered. So the manager came out and argued why. Said he was losing money, and this was only something to market to the nearby Military anyways . . . Really!! Those are only 2 experiences, weve had more . . . Only because my children like cfa, and this is the closest one. We will now definitly drive to the one 15 min further up the road on Dale Mabry--that one is awesome. Do not go to the one on Gandy until it gets a new owner who believes in the chickfila values and loves his customers like all of the other chick-fil-a restaurants in the U.S. do. Mr. Cathy would be unhappy :/

Ive a big reader of reviews but not so much on posting them. But as soon as I left this location, I felt the need to post a review. Im not even sure of her name but there was a worker at this location that was the definition of unbelievable. She was there from the time of 800am-825am and had short brown hair. She was the one that was sorting all the food, putting them in bags, etc. I was sitting there thinking how do they advance working here because they all usually have great attitudes and customer service then I saw her. Goodness, she was the engine of the place...just everywhere nonstop. "I need this...I need that...thank you after every single request....I need a runner..." It was actually amazing to watch. So to whoever you are, keep doing what youre doing. If everyone worked like that in their career fields...the world would be a better place.

I visited this location 2 days in a row. Both days I ordered a large frosted lemonade and both days I watched several employees walk by it while it sat. It sat for so long that it was nearly melted. Also, on the first visit I ordered a grilled chicken club and instead was given a crispy deluxe sandwich. A manager was nowhere insight, like there usually is. They seem moderately busy, but not so under staffed that orders (frozen drinks especially) should sit for too long or be incorrect. Both times while I was there, other customers were making complaints about their orders being wrong....BOTH times.

Dustin LaChance is the operator of this franchise. His brother DONOVAN LaChance apparently is one of the manager and is one of the rudest person Ive ever met. He care more about his big shot image than fulfilling his customers needs. He is very cocky and surely not Christian like. On two separate occasions they have ruined my appetite. I dont think there will be a third. The Chick-fil-A on South Dale Mabry goes over and beyond for their customers always taking coupons to include other locations and expired as well. Gandys staff are the rudest Ive ever encountered.

Service was good and food was consistent with chain standards. Restaurant was clean and had a dedicated area about prayer of military service members. There was an incident in the play area which required the children to be evacuated. The staff moved swiftly contain the issue and clean-up. I overheard one of the young staff members tell a team member something along the lines of, "This is why we go through training." It was evident that they were trained and they took their jobs seriously.

They are always the best ever. The fast food workers in south tampa use to be very unfriendly and sometimes rude. But all of a sudden when chick-fil-a came to town it is like the others took a customer service improvement pill. It was a crap shoot whether your order was right or complete. But chick-fil-a still beats them hands-down because the sincerity is lacking that is so prevalent at chick-fil-a. On top of that chick-fil-a has great food.

Wait times are horribly long. My order is never correct. I never see a manager insight. Ive witnessed numerous complaints by other customers visiting this location the same time I was there. Three times Ive ordered a frosted lemonade and all 3 times it has sat on the counter, ignored, until it was nearly melted. Ive had to take it upon myself to grab it. Some employees are kind and attentive, majority ignore you.

Its a Chick-fil-A, so they get two stars. But this restaurant messes up more than any other Chick-fil-A Ive eaten from. Their nuggets are half the size of every other restaurant, dry, and their waffle fries would be better labeled waffle crisps. Manager doesnt care if you bring it to his attention, Ive tried. Drive to Swann Chick-fil-A, food and service far superior. If youre in this plaza, try the Chipotle.

Usually very good. However it took me over 20 minutes to go through the drive through which is unacceptable. Apparently there is construction on the lot next to them so they cant have employees outside helping to take orders which causing the delay. For now, avoid this place if you are in a hurry or dont have 20 minutes to wait. They also forgot to add the dressing on my salad. Overall really bad experience.

This is my go-to for a quick lunch. Service is fantastic and fast - even through drive through. They have implemented people ordering which means someone comes to your car while in drive through, takes your order and then a quick move to pay. If the drive through line looks long, dont worry as it always moves quickly. Highly recommend the app downloads for ordering and paying. You get freebies often.
