Honestly I was very excited to find out a bakery opened in Wesley chapel, and I really wish I could have liked this bakery. My family and I always do custom cakes for our birthdays. This year for my mothers birthday I decided to try out Stone mill Artisan Bakery. This turned out to be a mistake. Sadly, I never even got to the point of a finished cake. I found out this business is pretty unorganized. I went in order to first discuss a cake and was happy to hear that they could do it. I scheduled an appointment to come a few days later so we could go over things like price and the final details. The day of the appointment came and the weather was awful. It was like a typhoon outside, but keeping to my appointment. Straight after work I drove down to the bakery. (In the pouring rain and flooded streets) Only to find out when I get there that the owner didnt even come in that day. Which wasnt even the most frustrating part. The employee out front didnt even seem to care that i came all the way down there just to find out no one could help me that day. Now I under stand that things happen a sick kid, car trouble, ect however having all my contact information a call should have been made. A little heads up would have been more then enough, a call, an email, or even a text. At that point it was either use this bakery or just buy a cake from publix. I chose that latter. Mostly because I was afraid that if I still gave this bakery my business they wouldnt finish my cake on time or something would happen and they would be closed for the day I needed it. Now, this wasnt just a one time problem. A some months prior to my mothers birthday day, I tried to get a consultation for my little brothers birthday. Going in I was informed that the owner wasnt there that day, but that they could write down my needs and information to give it to him the next day. Well a few days pass and I didnt hear anything from the bakery. Luckily I decided to take my business elsewhere in time, and got my cake through another bakery. Almost a month later I get a phone call from the bakery, a month later, saying that he fired the girl who took the message and never received it. Which honestly just seemed like an excuse to me. Now to their case desserts. Their bakery is decently priced and their desserts are okay, some being pretty good. The gelato that they have is average at best. Its too bad their management is unorganized and not customer oriented. Now Im not one to go out and post a bad review, but I feel that being there isnt a single review on this bakery, with it being so new, I felt that someone going in should know my bad experience.

My 82 stepfather ordered my mother a fruit basket online for Valentines from 1800Flowers and Stonemill Artisan Bakery and Desserts in Wesley Chapel, FL prepared and delivered it yesterday evening. However, no one was home and instead of leaving a note on the door, they left it in the back yard outside the back porch door and Peter (a guy that comes to spray for ants) found it 16 hours after delivery (Sitting in the Florida heat) Guess what? It was ruined! Full of ants and melted. I called Stonemill and instead of the manager calling me back to try and rectify this, they had an employee call and say there was nothing they could do and to call 1800Flowers. 1800Flowers wasn’t the dumb ass that left a fruit basket in someone’s back yard!!!! I will never do business with this bakery nor will any of my family members.

After having several other bakeries state that they could not do this cake, I asked Stonemill Artisan Bakery to make a "Chilled Raspberry Almond Cake" for my wifes birthday and they agreed to bake it. Although, they did not have the cake ready at the original time stated, once we actually got the cake and ate it, it was one of the (if not the) best cake Ive ever had! The cake looked great and tasted amazing! Very pleased with them and will use them again in the future!

I put a order in for hummingbird cake, On July 26, 2017. I figured two days was enough time for them to make a cake. On July 28, 2017 I get a phone call saying they did not have all the ingredients to make the hummingbird cake I pre-paid for the cake in advance and the only thing I will say is I had to go online and dispute the transaction because the company was not open when I went there to get a refund.

This is my 2nd time in this wonderful place and wont be the last one. The main reason: the ice creams. You can feel the care they put in every spoon. The chocolate Belgium is something crazy! The prices are really good too. I highly recommend them. Keep up the good work guys.

Walked in just to check it out. Very friendly staff. They are bringing Buddy Brew coffee within the week. All they need now is WiFi and it would be a great spot to work from.

Went there a couple days ago and the Pastries werent good. There are other good Pastries maker here in Wesley chapel. Also, expensive for the taste. I will not return.
