HORRIBLE! THE ACTUAL WORK WAS OK HOWEVER OUR TRUCK WAS LEFT IN A MESS. HAD THE FRONT END LINED TODAY. WHEN MY HUSBAND GOT IN THE TRUCK TO LEAVE HE DISCOVERED GREASE/OIL ON THE STEERING WHEEL, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND AC AND RADIO WERE ALL LEFT ON. MY HUSBAND IS METICULOUS WITH ANY VEHICLE ESPECIALLY HIS OWN AND NEVER LEAVES THESE THINGS ON BEFORE TURNING OFF THE ENGINE DUE TO THE STRAIN ON THE BATTERY WHEN STARTING IT AGAIN. LETS NOT FORGET THE OILY DIRTY FOOTPRINTS ON THE CARPET!! ALSO THEY MOVED THE SEAT. WHY? ARE THESE PEOPLE NOT PROFESSIONALS? AND WHY DID THEY FEEL THE NEED TO RUN THE AC TO MOVE THE TRUCK FROM THE VERY CLOSE PARKING LOT TO THE SHOP? WHAT OTHER LIBERTIES WERE TAKEN WITH OUR TRUCK? NOT HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY AND DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY ONE ELSE! WORKMANSHIP, PRIDE IN WHAT YOU DO AND RESPECT GOES A LONG WAY, I FEEL THE MESS OUR TRUCK WAS LEFT IN SHOWS THAT THIS COMPANY HAS NONE! THE ONLY REASON I AM GIVING ONE STAR IS BECAUSE IT WOULDNT ALLOW ME TO POST WITHOUT IT!

Car trouble is not something anyone enjoys going through. Unfortunately, it’s bound to happen to us all at one point or another. Hopefully you don’t encounter this situation while in the midst of a cross-country road trip in an area unfamiliar to you. Well, that’s what happened to me. However, the end of this story came out as best as one could hope for given the circumstances and that is entirely due to the outstanding service at Sumter Tire & Auto. I couldn’t have been more lucky than to land in the knowledgeable, honest, caring and capable hands of the staff and management at their South location. They truly went the extra mile in helping me through my car breakdown and very nearly a mental breakdown. I highly recommend the services of Sumter Tire & Auto to anyone looking for quality car care.

Ive lived in the area a few years now, but have been fortunate enough to not need anything repaired in my car. Two days ago I hit a pot hole, slightly bent my tires rim, and had to get it fixed. After seeing the positive reviews, I went in, they fixed the rim, and put my tire back on in just a few minutes for no charge. Anywhere else would have probably talked someone like me, who is oblivious to car repair, into a whole new rim. These guys are obviously trustworthy and this will be where I go to get all of my repairs someone forward. Their generosity today has earned a customer for life.

My car actually broke down on I-75 and I needed it to be repaired over 4th of July weekend I left it there for that holiday weekend the the wrecker actually referred them I will say they fixed my car Tuesday morning and I was amazed at how inexpensive it was everyone was very polite nice I will definitely be visiting them again for any of my car repair or maintenance needs they are a great family-owned company.

Ive been to Sumter Tire & Auto twice. Once for a dying batter and recently when my windshield wiper broke. The first time it took 30 minutes to replace the battery and the second time it took < 10 minutes from when I drove in to when I left. Staff is very friendly and helpful. No one tried tried to up sell me. When my warranty ends Ill be using them exclusively for car service.

My husband and I have had several experiences with Sumter Tire and Auto. We have always been pleased with their service and honesty. They have told us when we didnt need work done. Its a family-owned business. We were there at 7:55 this morning and they were out there before 8 oclock ready to roll. We would highly recommend this business.

Excellent service, attention to detail. I purchased new tires, and had my oil changed. Services was friendly, professional, and FAST. I requested they hand tighten my lugs, which is time consuming (82 lbs with a torque wrench). They didnt even blink because theyre real car people. Their work was spot on. Ill be back.

I was visiting from out of town and needed a battery. Went to Sumter Tire and got an Interstate Battery installed cheaper than most of the chain auto parts stores wanted for theirs.
