In the Fall of 2011, we took possession of a new home in Lake Alfred, Florida which was custom built for us by Steven Daniel of SRD Construction. We previously had custom homes built in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and were concerned about monitoring the process from such a great distance. After an initial interview with Steve in early 2010, and contacting his references, we were reassured that SRD Construction was the right construction company for our new home. Steve’s constant communications regarding the construction included regular e-mails, phone calls, and photographs. As a result, we only needed to make two trips to Florida to visit the job site and choose our cabinets, appliances, colors, etc. Steve’s wife, Kathy, was a great help to us in making the myriad of choices. Steve suggested many improvements such as the arched entrance and columns for our dining room. Steve’s attention to detail was extraordinary. For example, he sent us sketches of all tile layouts before installation. Our finished home is beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was completed on time to our exacting specifications. The few small items that needed attention after we moved in were taken care of quickly and proficiently by Steve’s foreman, and by the sub-contractors. We enthusiastically recommend Steve for any construction project or to build your new home.

I hired Steve Daniel ,SRD Construction, to do an extensive remodeling project on a 10-11 year old home. We gutted the entire home including taking out walls, all flooring and kitchen and bathrooms. We transformed the interior of the home from traditional to modern using high end materials which required superior craftsmanship and knowledge to accomplish. Steve and the subcontractors were very knowledgeable and skilled in each of their areas. Steve always required the highest quality work from each subcontractor and all were very professional throughout the project. We were able to stay close to the original budget despite the project being extensive and long. Steve was always very responsive to my requests and available to me at any time throughout the project.

SRD Construction is the contractor you want at your house. When each phase of the construction process started Steve would show up to check all aspects of construction and to inspect the work that was completed. I believe this kind of personal hands on attention to detail is what is missing in todays world. Very satisfied customer and when I do more projects I will surely be calling SRD first.

Ive always wanted a patio added on to my house but I didnt think I would be able to get one in my current home because there is so many weird angles and measurements that I thought it would be too hard of a job. SRD proved me wrong. They took on the project and now I have the beautiful patio that I always wanted. It is lovely.

We had some rough floor plans for what we wanted the custom addition to our home to look like. When we gave them to SRD Construction, they really made our rough sketches come to life, it was perfect, down to every last detail.
