I just had David over to look at a "fire hazard" that was told to me by a handyman that would not install a light because of it. My fiancee heard him say that so it was urgent that I had someone come out ASAP. I called the team at MNE. The customer service rep got someone over the next day even though she originally told me they only had Tuesday open (this was a Wednesday). I told her that it was a fire hazard, etc... David arrived and gave me the low down on the situation. It was not a fire hazard and the Handyman did not know what he was talking about. He told me this is very common and it is safe and nothing is wrong. He was very upfront, honest and had a great personality. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, fast acting, customer driven electrician!

I spoke with Suzanne on the phone who was professional and courteous in every sense. She directed me to speak with Rick G. who gave me all kinds of advice and helpful hints to help with diagnosis and limit the amount of time they would need to bill. He ended up coming out to figure out the electrical mystery. He was knowledgeable, extremely thorough, and kind. On top of that he answered my many questions and made me feel comfortable with the outcome. This company cares about their customers and are fairly priced. I cant recommend this business enough. I will definitely support this local company!

They kept me waiting 3 weeks for an estimate then backed out of the job with no other explanation. The girl on the phone spewed some line about the job not being profitable. They could name whatever price they want, so that makes little sense to me. Sounds MORE like they have no control over their technicians and are irresponsible with jobs that ask for a timeline for completion. Very unprofessional.

My requirements are pretty simple. Show up when you say you will show up. Be courteous and thorough. Help me understand what might have caused the issue and then of course fix it. The team at My Neighborhood Electrician was all that and more. They will be the first ones I call the next time I have any electrical issue. I would recommend them to everyone I know I dont often do that.

We recently used My Neighborhood Electrician to install recessed lights. Dave did a great job laying out the lights before installation so I did not have holes everywhere in my ceiling. Also called them when I had power surges while using certain appliances. Dave was right on when he told me to call the power company immediately. Probably saved my appliances from serious damage!!

I have used them on multiple occassions and always very happy with the result. The electrians offer helpful suggestions and I felt were really trying to get me the best results for what I was trying to accomplsh. A definite high recomendation!
