I called Carlton of Occasional Occasions by Carlton Catering on Sunday, December 22, 2013 in a panic because the caterer I had secured for an important charity event I was to host five days later had shown yet once again that he wasnt totally reliable. Carlton was very friendly and caring as he listened to my story and desperate plea for his help to take on the project. He already had plans to leave for the Christmas holidays but decided to come back a day early to accommodate me and make my dream come true. Not only did he do that but he stayed in touch with me throughout the entire time he was away to ensure that everything on both ends were running smoothly. As I made it to the venue on Friday, December 27 just hours before the benefit was to start the aroma of sweet rolls, veggies, chicken, etc was creeping through the air. His staff was very friendly and accommodating as I request changes to be made to the table placements in the arena. Carlton and his staff were very efficient replenishing drinks and bread or anything else I or my guests needed. Before departing he thanked me again with that beautiful smile and warm personality for allowing him to be a part of my special night. I was so ALL over the place as one could imagine being a host plus trying to make sure everything ran accordingly. I was moved by the fact that I had to call him about the final payment as he saw that my hands were full and decided he would follow up with me later. But I myself remembered to call him that night once I started to see myself get back to some normalcy. I will definitely use Occasional Occasions by Carlton again for future events, he comes highly recommended with two thumbs up....

Hello Carlton, I write to thank you immensely for the exceptional banquet service and scrumptiously delicious food you provided for our Phi Beta Kappa Induction Ceremony on April 22, 2017. The food was so very tasty and the presentation was absolutely, stunningly beautiful! The vegetarian lasagna and mini watermelon/goat cheese bites were the talk of the reception; everyone loved the delicious and well-prepared dishes on the buffet, as well as the beautiful cake you provided. That no food or cake was left at the end of the ceremony speaks to how much everyone enjoyed the dishes you prepared. I cant thank you enough for your professional, courteous, warm, timely, and efficient service! What an absolute joy to meet you and your staff; rarely do we meet people as dedicated as you and your staff. The level of service you provided far surpasses any catering experience we have ever had. We look forward to working with you again in the coming months for other events and functions; and will certainly contact you for our next Induction Ceremony in 2018. We used Occasional Occasions for a Sunday brunch at our house where we had about 30 people attending. Our experience with catering companies is mixed, and we were specifically looking for someone new to see if we could step up the service, food, etc., a serious notch. We could not be more pleased with what Carlton provided, both with respect to the food, and the service. Every aspect of what Carlton did for the occasion was spectacular. The food was amazing; Carlton suggested a menu for the event based on our initial conversation, and 90% of what we elected was what Carlton originally suggested. The food was plentiful, each dish better than expected, and the complements from our guests were raving. The services was equally excellent. Occasional Occasions arrived early, had everything beautifully set up, tore down after the event leaving the place as if no event occurred. Additionally, Carlton and his staff (we had one other individual from Occasional Occasions helping as well) were incredibly personable, and really helped make the event smooth and effortless for my wife and I.

Carlton did a fabulous job! I have polled my guests who attended todays tea, and we are unanimous in praise of his work: set up, food, and service. We also find him quite personable and relaxed, abundantly helpful with suggestions to me, for my first time hosting such and event.His attitude set the tone for a very relaxing evening of fellowship, and a unique experience with elegant, yet simple dining occasions. He is obviously expert in his craft, and I have learned how to augment and amplify, and prepare for such events. Carlton is a happily found asset, which I hope to enjoy again in the near future.
