My son attended The Bridge Learning Center in Carrollton, GA for exactly 1 year. When I visited The Bridge prior to enrolling, they advertised "lower than state ratios"in their classrooms. Shortly after I enrolled him at 3 months old, the 6 week to 6 month old infant room went from the advertised 5 infants, to 14. The room did not have enough individual beds for all of the infants and did not have the appropriate square footage in the room to have 14 children. After complaining for an extended amount of time, the room was finally split into multiple age groups. He moved up to the next room, the 6 month to 12 month room. In February of 2013 when he was 9 months old I visited him on my lunch break to discover he had a random object in his mouth that he could have choked on. It was determined to be a piece of a mop. After discussing with the assistant director, she said she believed it came from the bedding for the cribs because the mop heads were washed with the dirty laundry. I took a photo of the object, filed a complaint with Bright From The Start, an investigation was conducted and the facility was cited for not meeting the supervision rule. He was also bitten 4 times in 39 days starting 6/20/13 in the 1 year old room.I had an extensive conversation with the director about why this happened 4 times in a months time. She agreed her staff were not properly supervising the children. She said she may need to change staff in the room or split the children up into 2 separate rooms. She mentioned again that they might need to buy more toys if the children were fighting over toys. She stated she was going to ask her "director of operations" as well as her state representative from Bright From The Start for feedback on biting and tips to improve the # of incidents. I told her I already reached out to the state and there is no policy in place for "biting". I asked her to provide written documentation of her plan of improvement to me that day and she confirmed she would. I also asked for the # of times a biting incident had occurred in that room since 6/20 and how many repeated offenses the biters involved in my sons incidents had. She confirmed via email she would provide this information when I picked my son up on 7/30. When I came to pick him up, I went into the office and she said they made the decision to dismiss my son from the daycare. Her reasoning for the dismissal was because I had not given them time to improve the situation and because I posted photos of the bites on my personal Facebook page. This of course was after 5-10 employees who work there proactively found me online and added me as a friend on their own free will.

My daughter has been going to the Bridge since she was 3 mo old and she is now 2 ½. I have been extremely happy with the care my daughter has received and continues to receive from the teachers and directors. They have a lot of features that make them stand out from other child care centers. The facility is clean (minimizing germs is a priority), well managed, and the food options are healthy. Even from the beginning I have received a daily activity sheet that outlines when she naps, what and how much she eats and her diaper changes as well as her daily activities. This is extremely helpful and it helps me to feel like I am not missing out on what she did that day. She learned sign language in the 6 mo room that was a huge help in her communicating with my husband and I when she was unable to talk. The teachers are the same teachers consistently in each room – this is great because you and your child can form a bond with them easily. Each time she changes to a new room, they do a gradual transition where she first starts visiting the room for part of the day for a while before she makes a permanent change. Every teacher you pass in the hall speaks to you and knows your child by name. They play outside often, teach manners such as waiting your turn, cleaning up after themselves at playtime and meal time, etc. The curriculum is amazing and they are always working to improve it. My daughter is well ahead of other children her age because of the emphasis the Bridge puts into teaching. The daily activity sheet helps us to build on what she is learning during the day at home. The best part is that you can really see that the teachers and directors care about your child. I highly recommend the Bridge!

My wife and I love the bridge! Our son is in their 3 year old program and our daughter in Afterschool Zone. We love getting pictures and videos of our son through Kidreports! Our daughter gets picked up from school, eats a snack and has her homework finished when we pick up. Every Friday she cashes out the points she earned doing homework for Prizes! She loves Fun Friday ! For a busy family like ours it helps make more quality time at home not having to spend hours on homework before bed. We love receiving personal calls from the Directors just to share a funny moment our children shared that day. It makes it feel like home. The teachers take one on one time everyday teaching our children and investing in their overall happiness. Everyone has a genuine love for children and truly treat our children like their own! I wouldnt trust my children at any other child care center! We love The Bridge !

My son started attending The Bridge Learning Center in August of 2013 @ the age of 15 months. His teachers have been amazing. They show great compassion and care. The has learned and grown so much since starting. The updates going on at The Bridge Learning Centers are top notch state of the art! From the updated sensitizing closet, fresh paint, computer/tablet system to the fish tank as you walk in. You are creating an up to date and well ran center. The new reporting system Kid Reports is great! If a teacher checks that my son needs something it alerts me so I can take it in that night. GREAT PROGRAM!! All the updates are just topping the amazing employees you have. I have the ability to leave my son with not just employees but mothers and care givers that care and want the best for him. Thank you for the great care and center!

We LOVE The Bridge Learning Center! Its truly a learning center and not your typical daycare center! All the teachers go above and beyond to not only care for my children while Im working but teach using fun activities no matter what age. This center also provides heathly food options which is a huge plus, I know they are getting fruits & vegetables which I believe has helped my youngest to love all foods! Another plus for me is the hourly/daily reports that I receive, I know when they have eaten, napped or played outside & the best part is receiving pictures of my children daily...These are photos I will cherish forever! If you are looking for an exceptional facility for your child I would highly recommend The Bridge Learning Center!
