Im writing this review in order to warn other parents of the difficulties we experienced with Kidz Playstation. I will say this is a private-inhome care facility that I think would be best suited to parents who need part time care or for moms in need of a couple days for "moms day out", not for two full time working parents. Please read the contract carefully, but even then they seemed to find loop holes for each situation and there are two in which Ill disclose. 1. First, you must tell them which days you arent going to be there and they want to know ASAP. I have no problem with this except they then offer your childs spot to another child in the days your child is absent. So not only do you pay for those days in which your child is absent, but so does the other parent who takes your childs spot for the day. Therefore they are double dipping in a sense...getting paid twice for one spot. This isnt a problem really until something comes up and your child is no longer going to be absent and you want your spot back. Well, guess what? Too late. Theyve already given it to another child. This happened to us and it was very frustrating. I feel that if Im paying for a spot, it should be there regardless if I change my mind or not. Not the case at Kidz Playstation however. 2. In the contract (the one WE signed) it states that in the case of an emergency, the childcare facility has the right to close. Completely understandable given the fact that they are privately owned and only a few people run the school. However, they had an "emergency" situation arise in which we were told we could not bring our children, but heres the kicker...it wasnt closed to everyone. They picked and chose which parents to call and tell not to bring in that day. The school stayed open to several other parents and children. This seemed very discriminatory and frankly, wrong. My husband is in the military and was out of town that particular day, and Im a teacher who was supposed to be administering the statewide exam to my students. It was imperative that I be at work. I tried calling several family members to help watch the kids, but it was such short notice that they couldnt help out (understandably...I dont pay them to keep my kids!). So I had to call in to work because I had to watch my kids and I was forced to take a day without pay since it wasnt a sick day. I informed them of this, but they refused to offer any reimbursement and stated that in their contract they could close in case of an emergency...however it wasnt closed at all. It was still open to other children.

This review is in response to Christy Callaway review. The following is taken from Christys facebook page which contradicts what she said in her review.. Im so glad Kevin came out of his surgery with no problems! I know it will take a little bit for him to recover and hope that goes well too. Since I know that yall will need to be able to keep your ratio of children down the rest of the week and next, Ryan and I have decided to just keep the kids out to help you all out. Therefore we will not be coming back. This is my last week with students. Luckily, Ryan can watch them tomorrow, and well figure something out for Friday. As for next week, I have post planning, but have been on the phone today calling everyone to see who can watch them. We have several family members who will have a day here and there who I think will be able to help us out. Hope this will relieve some stress about your ratios for awhile. Thanks for everything and the best of luck to you and Kevin! Good Morning Leonor, A few things have been heavy on my mind since we left. First, Im truly sorry to how we left things. I think the stress of moving and the disagreement with business transactions caused us to overreact. That being said, you all were always kind and good to our children and for that Im sincerely thankful. Secondly, in our haste to move we left behind Rylies napping blanket. I know this seems trivial, but it was handmade by my grandmother and I cant get it out of my head. Also, Rylie does ask about it. It was pink and white with a little tag on it that said Joyce Haywood (my grandmother). I know its a long shot, but I was wondering if you still had it. I understand if you dont. I hope yall are doing well. Sincerely, Christy

I brought my oldest (who is now 5) when she was 18 months old. I was looking for something that had the personal touch of an in-home daycare, but provided the structure of a pre-school, Kidz PlayStation is just that. I like that it doesnt feel like someones home and the daycare was an after thought. Mr. and Mrs. Jackson put a large amount of thought into the design and layout of the childcare area. The areas for infants, toddlers and preschoolers is very clearly designated. Outside there is a large fenced yard, with enough space for children to run and a variety of toys to keep their interest. During the summer months they have "Beach Days" outside and the kids can cool off in the water tables. They celebrate birthdays, all the holidays and best of all, they capture these candid moments and post on their Facebook page. I have also been very pleased with all that my oldest has learned. My child went to Pre-K well prepared. At her conference in the fall her teacher said that she was among the group of students that she considered advanced. I immediately had to give all credit to Mrs. Lee because she took the time to teach her the skills she knew she needed in order to be successful in the "big school". My youngest is three and when she started at 6 weeks. I never once worried about if she was being taken care of. I feel the peace of mind I get is PRICELESS. Overall, I am extremely pleased with Kidz PlayStation. I highly recommend them whether you need a fulltime daycare or just part-time care, either way you will have the satisfaction of knowing that your child is loved!! :)

My 8 month old daughter started coming to Kidz Playstation in January of this year. We love it! Mr. and Mrs. Jackson are so nice and so loving towards my daughter. My husband and I really wanted to find an in-home daycare that was more loving and attentive than a regular daycare facility. We have definitely found that here. I love knowing that her teachers wont change every year and that she will grow with the same kids. Mrs. Jackson cooks all of their meals daily and they always tell me about my daughters day when I pick her up. They do fun activities with the children and really seem to love them and enjoy what they do. It is so hard on a working mom to leave her baby, but it helps so much to know that she is in a wonderful place with great people!!
