When looking for a daycare, my husband and I wanted a safe and enriching environment for out two sons. What we found at Winnford Academy was so much more; a true home away from home, a wonderful asset to our community, and a blessing to our family. Winnford has created an environment where children learn and have fun, while developing wonderful relationships with their teachers and each other. They spare no effort to tend to their individual needs and display great dedication to the childrens well being. My sons have learned, and are learning, everything from their ABCs, letter and number recognition, reading, opposites and same, and shapes, to music, dance and computers. They also are learning life enhancement skills like sharing, patience, understanding conflict resolution, and love. They eat nutritional meals and snacks during the day and enjoy playing on the playground outside. In addition to all of the wonderful daily learning and life experiences, Winnford also offers parents many conveniences. They offer haircuts for the children, professional photo sessions, homework assistance for school - age children and extracurricular activities like Tumble Bus, Play Ball, and field trips to area attractions and learning centers. All of these wonderful experiences and conveniences make being working parents so much easier and sets our minds at ease. It is for these and so many more reasons, w would highly recommend Winnford Academy to any parents looking for a home away from home for their children.

Winnford Academy is Amazing!!! I as a father had issues with handing my daughter over to anyone as trust with the most precious thing one can have is hard to have... Winnford broke this barrier for me... We have been taking our daughter here for about 3 months now and I love the professionalism that they have but whats Amazing is the perfect balance of compassion and love that they put into this place while maintaining professional ! My daughter loves her teachers and they love her! I know my daughter and see that they put there heart into their time with her as she comes home happy and learns new things everyday. She literally jumps into her teachers arms and not even the same way she does with family! What I witnessed the other day almost brought tears to my eyes as I had an epiphany and realized that these teachers spend AS MUCH time as we do with our child and literally help to define who she will become... Ms Autumn, Ms. Kelly, and Ms. Tina I just want to say thank you and we appreciate you from the bottom of my heart! Josh is also the best director and handles the business like one should, with an excellent combination of a firm lead but huge heart and it shows when you meet him! EVERY TEACHER that we encounter is a positive experience for us and our daughter and this daycare will have one of the biggest impacts on our first home purchase as it is where we want her to start her education. Winnford, you ROCK!

Well with what to start, the place is clean and nice that why I wanted her to go there. But the staff is another story. I requested for my kid to be moved in prek3 when she was 2 because she already started to read at home with me and knew her numbers and everything else, she could write her name and other letters, numbers staff like this .. and the teacher told me she doesn`t know her letters, after my kid read her some little books with spelling the word and sounding the letters. And they move her back in the old class without telling me first, I went in her class and her name was removed from where they hang their backbags and the teacher told me the older kids from afterschool might took her name from there (funny thing another name was already replacing my kid name) anyway .. very very disappointed with the place. The owner did listen and he tried to do everything to pleased me but i think was just for not losing business, now I drive 20 min to bring my kid to another school but I am very pleased with it, and my kid is appreciated for her knowledge and challenged every day!

Winnford Academy is a wonderful school. The teachers love their jobs and love the students. You can see this just in the way that they are always playing with the children. They take their time with each child. My child is 10 months old and is in the infant B classroom and her main teachers ms. Autumn and ms. Kelly are wonderful as well as the other teachers that come in and help take care of my daughter. I recommend Winnford Academy to everyone I know. Every time I come in the front doors I am greeted with a smiling face. All of the teachers here are always very polite and have great attitudes. The assistant director is wondrful and very helpful with everything we need. Everyone is always willing to help even if they are not My daughters teachers. My family and I are very pleased with this school.

When it came time for me to trust someone with my child, I researched and visited everywhere before I made my decision. I made the right decision almost two years ago and continue to be happy. When Ive had any concerns they have been immediately addressed and having an onsite owner/director has ensured that needed change happens swiftly. While all the teachers have different personalities and strengths, they all have taken the time to learn my childs personality and her learning style...and even her changing learning style as she develops. The fact that my child talks about her teachers wanting them to come to her birthday party, visit her Grandmas with her, etc. tells you how she considers Winnford part of our family.

The facility is very clean, which left a good first impression, but at the end of the second day, the afternoon teacher tried to force my daughter, who is usually very outgoing and affectionate, to give her a hug and when my daughter tried to pull away, the teacher would not let go of her hand. This did not sit well with me. She was in tears the next morning, something that is entirely unlike her, and I did not send her back. The owner is there, and listened to my concerns, and my reason for not enrolling my daughter, so they do listen, but my "mommy-sense" told me this was just not a good fit for my child. The children seemed safe and pretty happy, but Im thankful for the trial week, because it just wasnt "right" for us.

Everyone has been great in working with our child and his behavior issues. We have seen a huge improvement. It is a joy to be at a facility that genuinely cares about his success as a student.
