This place has the worst customer service I can imagine. They do not care in the least. I made an appointment to get an estimate a week ago. Yesterday I took my truck in to have the rear axle seal looked into for an estimate. Then I was told I would have to make an appointment to get it fixed. They call me back early this morning and said they were too busy and could not do the work. I asked if I could bring it back later when they were not so busy to get it fixed. They said no they did not want to do the work. They were not even nice about it. When I went in to pick up the truck the owner could see I was upset for them wasting my time and asked what was wrong so I told him my story. He said those axles can be a little tricky sometimes. They had not even looked at the truck it was still parked in the same spot and the odometer was exactly the same. I would not go back to this place if they fixed my truck free. Dont waste your time with these backyard yahoos, if they cant be honest with you to begin with they do not deserve your money. The only reason I gave them a 1 star rating is I had to give something and there is nothing lower than 1 star. They dont even deserve a star. I have never been so upset with such pathetic customer DISservice before in all my life.

I am a retired navy E-8 and it is so hard to find people in all facets of industry that you can trust, especially the auto repair industry. We have late model cady and had a problem with the A/C and went to several shops. All quoted new compressor and i suspected that there was nothing wrong with it. Anyway we went to marottis and that average 1200.00 dollar repair was on 170.00. He did a inspection and found a bad valve that was leaking and replaced it. Everything is working fine and has been for the past 6 months. This guy tells it like it is and is extremely trustworthy. The only problem is getting an appointment for service. But for this guy I would wait a month if I had to. By the way, it only takes a few days at the most and he explained that when my appt is made he only wants to focus all his energy on the particular vehicle. BRAVO ZULU AND SIERRA HOTEL! Ive been taking my car here for years. Time and time again they prove why. Thought I had a simple brake issue, so I took my car to the Kauffman Tire in Brookhaven near my new house. Nice people, but when I got quoted for $800 to fix the axle, bearings, and hub, I decided it was worth the 50 minute drive back towards my parents house to have Marotti look at it. Total cost from Marotti was $295 for something Kauffman wanted $800 for. Car repair reviews can often be a case by case basis, but over the years I always feel more comfortable bringing my care here.

Completely Honest and excellent service!!! Im an engineer by trade and a shade tree mechanic by hobby. When my car has a problem that I either cant do myself (e.g., transmission or major engine work) or I dont want to deal with I take it to Vinny. I always calculate the prices before I take it to him and he ALWAYS beats the price. Hes one heck of a mechanic; and as others have said he wont up-sell anything. He stands behind his work!

Im only giving this place 3 stars because, while they are personable, do quality work and their prices are fair, their phone number is almost always busy and I cannot get through to make an appointment. Im going to have to find another mechanic because I just cant wait any longer, There is no email address or any other way to get through by phone, and they apparently dont even have call waiting.

My mom and I have been going to Vinny for years. I joke with everyone I tell about Marotti Auto Repair that Vinny is like Seinfelds Puddy "the only honest mechanic in town". No bogus services or up-selling pressure, etc. As a woman, I trust Vinny and know that he wont take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars! Thats a great comfort to me! I highly recommend him!

Vinny has been taking such great care of my family and our cars. If you need something fixed or looked at, this is the place to go. He wont blindside you with random costs and tell you things need to be fixed when they dont. He is going to tell you what is really going on. This place is run by a family and makes you feel like family. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Vinnie has been repairing my wifes Tahoe for years and he always offers the best price plus we just feel like we can trust him. He comes across very knowledgeable and he has so much experience he is aware the idiosyncrasies our vehicle which has really saved us money. He is the kind of repair person you always want to do business with!!!

I cant say enough about enough about Marottis - if you want honest, fair people to work on your car SEE THEM!! They have saved me thousands on repair, since I drive an older car there always seems to be something wrong. I was told that my head gasket was blown - it wasnt, was something minor. Great people.
