Bad mechanic skills or bad business? YOU decide... My daughters 2002 Sentra broke down. When we tried to start it, it sounded like it wasnt getting fuel. We had it towed to Complete, and explained this exact same thing, stating it might need a fuel pump. The next day, we get a call from Complete stating that the car was "ready" but needed some additional work because "it was knocking". I was told they checked the oil and it looked bad, but they didnt understand why because she was still 1000 miles from the next oil change. My daughter and I went to Complete to pick up the car. Thats when we were told that it wasnt able to be driven, and needed a new motor. They showed us a small board with two tubes. One tube had brand new oil in it. The other was (supposedly) the oil that came out of my daughters car. It took three men to tell us the oil was no good. We were quoted $3000 for the motor job ($1800+ for the motor alone). I gave them the go-ahead to do the job. Later that day, my husband and I decided that $3K was way too much for that job, and told them that we would have it towed to another shop. We were charged $150 for the 1-1/2 hrs of prep work the tech had already done. (YES... they charge $100/hr - same rates I pay my diesel mechanic!). Thats fine! The kicker to the entire experience was that.... when my husband and I went to Complete, to be refunded $2350 of the $2500 deposit we paid, my husband asked the tech to show him what was done, and my husband wanted to see the oil. The tech showed him the oil and said "its fine". My husband told them what I said - backed up by the picture I took of the oil samples - and the tech said, "I dont know why they told you that." So... was it a bad mechanic thing, a gender thing or overall BAD BUSINESS THING? My saying is this, "A mechanic is like a babysitter. You have to be able to afford them AND trust them." I wouldnt send my 89 y/o grandmother to a shop like this! I think theyd try to sucker her in with a nice receptionist and mechanic. Smh

Complete Automotive offers friendly service and good rates and they are honest which makes a difference. They are not trying to overcharge customers or find unnessary repairs. I take both of my vehicles there because they offer very good service and rates, I used to take my SUV to the dealer for all my service but now I take it to Complete Automotive and am very satisfied.

I have used Complete Auto for personal car issues and for our commercial trucks. They have always been fair and honest about pricing and diagnosis of problems. Everytime they tell me the cost of something, I am always surprised at how low the cost it. The guys have treated me fairly and I am loyal to them and them only. I highly recommend these guys!!

I took my car in for a diagnostic check for a starter / cranking issue and I was very impressed with the mechanics. They did a very thorough check and didnt even charge for the diagnostic check. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.
