This place is a RIP OFF. I took one car there about a year ago, to get the fluids checked before a long trip with children to the beach. I broke down on the highway and car overheated. Because it is located near my husbands workplace, he took his truck there so he could leave it while he was at work. It had either a knot on a tire or needed new tires...we werent sure...but if felt unsafe on the road...felt like the front tire had a knot....bumped in rhythm to the cars speed, and pulled in direction of that tire.....which is why he took it to tire people...who are supposed to be experts. After being at work all day he walks the 2 miles to the tire place and they havent even looked at it yet. Then they tell him all it needed was alignment fixed. Of course...he gets back on the road and the problem is still there if not worse. So again...takes it and waits for hours for them to tell him it actually just needs new tires. He drove home and the next day blew a tire on the highway and had to have it towed there...the closest place, where he planned to buy tires soon anyways....so they replaced the tires but never refunded him for the unnecessary alignment job. That was $80 for the alignment...there was no problem with the alignment...we just wanted them to tell us if we needed new tires. I dont think they ever looked at the tires until it had been taken BACK. They should refund us for the complete waste of 3 days waiting on the vehicle. All it needed was new tires. That should have taken no more than a few hours.

I wish I could actually comment on the quality of their work but unfortunately I cannot. I placed a request for an appointment online. The email I received advised I would receive a confirmation email or a call to advise if the appointment could not be scheduled. I was requesting tomorrow and did not receive either so I called a little after 5:00PM. Michelle lacked empathy and just told me they have no availabilities for tomorrow. This is understandable since its the weekend. However, she did not offer up any other appointment options or solutions. She asked for my tire size after I asked probing questions about a different day for an appointment. I asked if they got my online request. She confirmed they did, but the request does not include my tire size. She did advise if I could call back with this information she could she if they have the correct tires in stock. Im giving 1 star since the online form is useless and they did not call me to ask about my request when it did not have tire size or to advise they did not have the time I was requesting. Also Michelle needs to work on her customer service and her ability to be empathetic to the customer. I will not be doing business with this company.

Used to love this place. Used them for every auto need I had: Tires, oil, random small problems like A/C dash function issues.... Im Never going back. My wifes Saturn was acting up (no acceleration, rough idle) and after changing spark plugs and putting in Fuel Injector Cleaner, the problem persisted. These guys took the car in and claimed there was no problem. They couldnt "recreate the issue". So, after paying for their diagnostic services, I go out to the car, turned the key and guess what: the same problems magically appeared that they, just a few minutes before claimed they "couldnt recreate". So I walked back in and they said "We arent going to fix it." and gave me a refund. They might as well have given me the finger. Dont go here. They dont care about you, your problems, or even making money, apparently.

I had a complete brake job done May 9, 2014 shortly after 5pm (they close at 7p) on my 2003 Infinity I-35 with 90,900 miles. They checked my brakes and let me know that rotors will also need replacing (I expected that) and may be able to have done by 7pm. I explained I could leave the car overnight and pick-up Saturday before closing time of 6pm. They were fine with that and called me on Saturday when the car was ready. The quoted cost was $536+ with my $99 per axle coupon which saved me almost $100. I was very pleased not to get a call saying, we found something else.... The people are very nice, knowledgeable and professional, and their brake service work was excellent. I am very satisfied and recommend the Cartersville Firestone Auto Care location for your brake service. (ry5-12-14)

I went there to get an alignment and they told me I had to fix my struts so I did. Then they told me that I had to fix my control arms or else they couldnt do an alignment in a year before they said my tie rods were bad so they wouldnt give me my free alignment with a set of 4 tires I find it strange after a whole year they tell me my tie rods are fine now all in which they wanted over $2,000 worth of work which I put in myself 4 under 400 and I replace the tie rod ends because I know they would have said that they were bad the next time I get an alignment. They just are overpriced, kind of dishonest, but good at pointing out what is wrong with your car.

The technicians are great...if you can get by Michelle at the front. Shes about as helpful as a little toe growing out of your forehead. On multiple occasions Ive tried to get seen only to be given the run around as to how long it might be before I can get in. Her answer to every attempt to get an estimate - 20 minutes, 2 hours, 4 hours, just something - yields an I dont know sir, I cant predict how long things will take. Im not looking for Nostradamus, Im just trying to maximize the use of my time. Im tired of trying this place. Like I said, this has happened multiple times. Im over it.

This is the worst place ever. i went to get my oil change done and Linsey shatter my window. how do u shatter someones window by doing an oil change. i will never go back ever again. They didnt wanna fix it for one and second she said she shouldnt have to. That it wasnt there fault. but before i went my window was fine. i dont recommend anyone go there. they always tearing up stuff and trying to take the cheap way out fixing what THEY broke. from my point of view Lindsey needs not to work on nobody car cause she dont know what she doing. WORST PLACE EVER

These guys were incredible! My wife broke down on her way to Indiana when a bolt broke on her alternator. The jumped on it and got the part ordered, but then when the parts truck broke down bringing the part, they went the extra mile and went to a local junk yard and pulled the bolt from another car, got her fixed and on her way for what I thought was a very fair price. on the road enroute to Virginia from AL to pick up a prisoner. Had to be there at specified time. Passing thru Cartetsville, GA. Suddenly had a brake problem went to store for help, explained predicament to Pam. She went into action, sent us to great breakfast place, put tech to work and we were back on road with new rear pads, rotors in less than an hour. Thanks Pam and great job Firestone! .
