While I love the finished product and the stylist, I believe the quoted price was misleading. My daughter had saved money for her and I to have our hair done together as a birthday present to me. She called and set everything up. Was quoted $41 for my haircut and $74 for partial highlights. When I arrived, I informed the stylist that I would prefer full highlights and she said it would be $15-$20 more. Not a problem. When I paid, I was charged $180. The haircut was $51, highlights $99 and 2 charges for $15 for extra color. My hair is long, but only about half way down my back. So not extremely long. Then my daughter wanted silver ombre. The stylist talked her into going with an oil treatment and regular color. She already had old blond ombre. But she kept insinuating that we couldnt afford the extra $25 for silver. And kept saying silver would go darker. Not sure why she kept trying to talk her out of it instead of just doing as my daughter (the client) wanted. Good thing though, she was quoted again $41 for the cut and $141 for the ombre and she was only charged $170. But its $170 for something she did not want or isnt happy with. Again, money is not the issue. But what if I wasnt there to make up the difference?? My daughter was quoted a price and budgeted for that price. Not sure why the extra fees/charges.

I have been coming to this salon on and off for several years. I recently had my hair highlighted here and was disappointed. I asked for several colors in a full highlight and she only used one. Its barely noticeable. I told her as she was drying my hair that I saw big dark sections of hair especially in the front and she pretended to not to hear what I said. The second time I mentioned it, she said that only I would notice it. I paid over $140 dollars and got pretty much nothing for it. Very disappointed that she just ignored my comments and was eager to just push me out the door.

Horrible. My cut wasnt even AT ALL. I could have cut it myself and it would be a better cut. And also no where near the color I wanted. I ended up spending $300 on myself alone . (The original appointment + the redo) and its still not what I asked for .when I showed the hair stylist the picture how I wanted my hair, she said it was "out of style " . Which is not true. Its actually trending . But even if it was out of style and I wanted my hair like that and I was paying for it , I should get what I want.

Having never been to a salon before was a new and awesome experience at Salon 124 in Grayson. I came in for a cut and not only got what I asked but Cathy helped me tremendously in giving me some tips on styling my new stacked bob. She made me feel at home and was so sweet with tending to my needs with my cut. She made sure to know exactly what I wanted and gave me just that. The price I feel is well worth it and will definitely be going back from now on.

My daughter called to have her hair washed, dried and straightened for her 18th birthday! They told her it was going to be $35. When it was done they told her it was $70! Not knowing what to say or do she was so taken aback that she quietly just paid for it and left! I guess Ill have to go in to try to address it with someone!
