I was given a cut and color by Nikki (my regular stylist was no longer working at the salon) and she got a snarl in my hair so bad that she spent the entire appointment trying to get it out. My ex-stylist happened to be a client that day and had to come over and try to detangle my hair - she could not get this monster snarl out. Eventually, Nikki worked around the snarl to do the cut, then worked on it again, claiming she was able to get it out. What she ACTUALLY did was hide the snarl under a section of smooth hair so I did not notice it until I left! I was horrified when a CHUNK of hair broke off in my hand on the ride home! The appt was on Saturday so I called Tuesday at 10:00 am when they were open next, asked for the manager, left a message was the receptionist for a call-back, and was told I would get a call later that day. It is now 4 days later and no one ever called me back. Clearly, the salon is more interested in profit than customer satisfaction and does not want to be bothered with customers who have a complaint. I will never go back.

Id gone to my former salon for about 6 years but on a whim, decided to look for something new. About four weeks ago, I ended up getting an appointment with Kassie for a cut and color. I have to say that Ive never been more pleased! Kassie was professional and helpful through the entire appointment, and offered amazing advice about not just the color, but cut, shampoo, and styling. It didnt feel like the pitch at my old salon, but more like talking to an old friend that happened to be a stylist. After my hair had dried, other stylists even came over to ask Kassie what color and process she used to get the vibrant red we selected. After leaving, I immediately began to get compliments on the color and cut of my hair by perfect strangers and friends alike. Between the service and the result, I just dont see how I could possibly go back to my former salon (or any other). Ill be returning this weekend and look forward to letting Kassie take care of me again!

I LOVE my hair, thanks to Chris Nicholson and staff. I am a long-time repeat customer. I started with Chris after an epic hair fiasco elsewhere, many years ago. I have transitioned from perm-cut-and-style, to cut-highlight-and-style, to (sigh) cut-color-and-style over time with this salon. At 50something I am even happier with my hair than I was at 20something. Twice (out of 150+ appointments) Ive gotten home and decided I was less than delighted with my finished style or color, and simply called and explained. The salon apologized, immediately re-booked me at my convenience, (at no additional cost) and fixed it. I have referred countless friends and family over the years, and continue to do so. Professional, thorough, cutting edge (OK, pun intended). Keep up the good work Chris.

I took a chance and went into this salon based on good reviews online. I had been traveling back to my main guy 3 hours away to get my cut and color done. I wanted something very different and I went in with a couple of pictures that werent exactly what I wanted. Amanda Glynn was my stylist, listened to me, made suggestions, and achieved EXACTLY what I wanted. I know she had to be terrified since I was new and had to explain to her what I wanted instead of showing her an exact picture, but SHE DID IT. I was so pleased I thought about writing this immediately after, but thought it would be better to wait. Three haircuts and a color later, I couldnt be happier. BTW, if you go see her, tell her Leslie with the curly hair sent you!

This salon and spa is the best in the region. Since I arrived back down to Georgia in 2009, they welcomed me with open areas, always providing high-quality service at an exceptional value. As such, I have not found the need to go to any other salon/spa in the area. This salon is very welcoming, offering a great atmosphere, great products, and industry-leading services. Personally, I always get my hair cut and styled by Amanda Santee; she is the constant professional - always going above and beyond to provide me with the very best hair cut and style. While they may not publicize it, Chris Nicholson Salon and Spa is active in the community, helping various causes, and this just shows me that they are one-of-a-kind and world class.

I saw the ratings before I booked my appointment, but took the chance anyway. I ended up with Steve who was an excellent and very experienced hair stylist. I usually get my hair done at Van Michaels in Sandy Springs so I am used to exceptional cuts and Steve certainly knew what he was doing. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair cut that I will be going to Steve as my regular stylist from now on. Give him a try - I believe youll be very happy with your cut. I live in Kennesaw and its great to finally find a really good local stylist like Steve. May be a bit pricey for some, but worth every penny to finally get a good cut.

I have been a client for five years and have always had an outstanding experience. The facility is always clean and the staff has always been extremely helpful and hospitable. I have recommended my family and closest friends whom are still existing clients. I have seen many different stylists and have never been disappointed with my cut or color. The price is right and my cut/color is even better :) I would definitely recommend this salon and look forward to me next visit!

I have been going to Chris for years. He’s a great guy, very professional, he LISTENS as well as offering his own input on what would serve you best, and as a bonus he’s interesting and fun. He and his staff are very accommodating and more than willing to make adjustments if you’re not happy. They will make it right. The salon is contemporary without being overly jazzed up (no loud rock music etc.). Convenient location around Town Center Mall. Good people.

I was not happy at all when I left the salon. The haircut and color was ok, but my experience was not. I was asked to stand while they cut my hair and they took me to the sink after my color and then stated I needed to stay foiled for another 5 minutes. They left me laying in the uncomfortable sink for 5 minutes. I did have a coupon, so maybe they sent me to their newer stylist, but that was a bad move as I will not be going back.

My hair feels fantastic and looks exactly how I wanted: healthy and natural! So many places you ask for natural and they give you....not. But Amanda took the time to listen to my request, ask questions, and explain what she was doing. I went in with a damaged and brassy blond and came out with a natural strawberry color with the perfect layers! Great service, down to earth staff and atmosphere, and wonderful results!

I have never before had the urge to write a review about a salon until now. I had my hair cut by Renee and it was actually uneven. Noticeably longer on one side. To me, having my hair cut evenly is my most basic expectation when getting my hair cut. Had they bothered to flat iron my curly hair before ushering me out of the salon, it might have been noticed. I will not be back.
