I called Hicks for a roofing repair job on Monday 1/18 in the AM. I was told I would receive a call back to schedule an estimate visit in a couple of hours. I got my call back on Tuesday 1/19 late in the afternoon. I scheduled the estimate appointment for Friday 1/22 between 7:30 and 8:00 AM. I got a text at 10 minutes past 8AM that they were 20 minutes out. At this point I already had another bid and repair date scheduled with a competitor. The competitor price was $600. Hicks initial price was $675 but after explaining the bid I already had and a scheduled appointment for the repair, the Hicks guys offered to lower the price to $625 still higher but they guaranteed me they would be out to do the repair on Sunday 1/24. But, before I would commitment they sat and listened to me call the competitor to cancel my repair order with them. I wanted to make sure I was being honest with everyone. No problems canceling the with the competitor. I agreed to pay the higher price knowing I was going to get my repair done Sunday, before a big rain system was moving in. Well on Sunday, I got notice via text msg that they were not going to do the repairs. Then they stopped by house after a few text message exchanges to tell me they would do it but it was so late in the day and with the cooler temperatures their adhesive would not set properly and they werent sure if they were going to run out of day light. Why a 1 rating. You were late in returning my call to schedule an estimate, you were late arriving for the estimate, your price was higher than your competition and then you did not do the work on the day you guaranteed it. On Sunday, 1/24 I left a voicemail on Opt 3 asking for the owner to contact me about my experience. No one returned my call. I have given you three days to contact me and you didnt, the lack of basic business practices is completely non existent. I canceled two appointments I had on Sunday for you to do the work, no respect for my time. You caused me to rework the entire process to get my roof repair done which is still not fixed. If I could give you a 0 I would.

The worst company I have ever dealt with. They have no concern for a customers time. This all started 1/10/16 with a no show, no call for my appointment to get an estimate. I took the day off and it would not be the last time. The following week I got a call that they were on the way but they were running late( a whole week late). They gave me a reasonable estimate of $425 to replace the 4 boots with UV collars, rotten decking, and shingles. It took another week for the office to make my appointment for 2/3/16 at 12:00pm. I planned to take the day off work, but there was a good chance of rain in the morning. I thought it might dry out so they could do the work. An hour and a half after my appointment they called to cancel. They said they would be out Sat or Sun to get me taken care of. They did not show or call. A week later I got a call from Kelly to put me back on schedule for the weekend. Saturday, I got a call from one of the workers. They needed to know what color my shingles are so they bring the correct ones. Three hours after they were supposed to show up I got a text that they are not coming. It woud be Sunday morning. Sunday, no show and no call. This went on and on until 2/21/16. I lost a total of 12 hours on my job and three weekends in a row waiting on these clowns to show. I have been more than patient and have considered the weather as a factor. This company is just a joke and the owner should be embarrassed how his business is operating. Now I have wasted six weeks. I have to find a new company to give me an estimate. If it was a perfect world, they would be paying me for the time I have lost due to the poor ethics. At this point, I will file a complaint with the BBB. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. It will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Hicks Roofing - These guys are real pros. I got numerous bids on my 20+ year old roof and they were competitively priced and provided a superior level of services. They completed the most thorough roof inspection to make sure they got the bid right, they helped me choose a superior shingle with a lifetime warranty that has upgraded the look of my home. The crew from Hicks worked their tails off removing the old roof and installing the new one. They had all the safety equipment required and cleaned up constantly during the two day project. Hicks even assigned a project manager to me and she checked in before, during and after the job to make sure everything went well. My new roof looks awesome and I highly recommend Hicks Roofing!

Hicks Roofing is a terrible company to deal with. We scheduled an appointment with them to check out a leak in Smyrna. Since its raining, they told us they could only put a tarp on - but do no other inspections or repairs. That would have been fine, if they had told us that or called BEFORE their appointment. After they no-showed, we called to find out where they were and Kelly in the office admitted to misplacing our paperwork and not calling us to cancel in advance. So now we took the day off from work for no reason. On top of that, they would not let me speak to a supervisor or manager. Worst company ever. Would still like to speak to a manager about my complaint.

I just needed to let you know that the response and service from the Hicks Roofing team have been all we could expect and with timing according to our needs. This is the second time for which we have had to call on Hicks for roof repairs, each time for different problems, and the response and repairs have been quick and for a reasonable price. Options were given for our choice for a more permanent solution or a quick repair with no pressure to select one over the other. With so many other companies that pressure you to an upsale and keep you waiting or even not even show when expected, I just wanted to express my appreciation for the company you represent. Thank you

I recently had my shingle roof replaced by Hicks Roofing out of Kennesaw, GA. Their rep was very helpful and made sure I understood every step involved- from why I needed the replacement to coordinating my claim with our homeowners insurance to picking out the new product and color. The work was scheduled very promptly after approval was secured form our HOA. It took just over a day to complete; I think the heat at over 100 degrees kept them from finishing the same day. Everything was cleaned up when the job was done and we are now enjoying our new roof.
