Oh man, where to begin? After getting my hair dyed blue at another salon in early January, I had my first appt here earlier today to fix where it was fading a little sooner than expected, and to get my hair trimmed. Just about everything that could have gone wrong did. The color stylist asked me to email a pic of the color my hair should be and what it had faded to, I emailed her both. She replied with a pic of what color blue she would be using, it looked good so I told her that sounded great. But when she mixed the color today, I pointed out that it looked too dark and was purple instead of blue. She shrugged this off and said "Oh itll be fine, itll turn out lighter, you want it to be a little darker anyways so itll last longer." Once she started applying it, I again noted that it definitely looked too dark and was purple, not blue. She reassured me again that it would end up a "royal blue." Well wouldnt you know it, it ended up the exact same purple as it was in the mixing bowl. She applied something to try to fix this, it did not work and only made it a different shade of purple. She apologized, blaming the miscoloring on hair dye not being an exact science since "the chemicals do what they want" as if dying hair were voodoo magic, but this was of course BS (look at the attached pictures, it is immediately obvious that the color she mixed and applied was incorrect and did not match the pic I provided for reference, nor the pic she sent me in advance to let me know what color would be used). I was not a happy camper at this point, but I was very patient and not rude as I simply felt inconvenienced. But then she said they wouldnt be able to fix it today and that I would have to come back tomorrow. The entire appointment today took over four hours, a huge chunk of which was spent waiting around for the stylist (and no, Im not referring to times where I was waiting for the color to set--just times where the stylist walked off). Then the haircut stylist came and did the cut, which, to be fair, turned out okay. But the real kicker is that as I was leaving, I was told I would be charged the full price for both services today. I offered to pay for the cut now, color tomorrow since I was having to come back to get the color fixed then. They said no, they had to charge me full price for both today--a whopping $206, which was waaaaaay more than the price I was quoted at when I had called to set the appointment. By this point, I was so irritated I gave them an earful about all of the above, then just paid it since I was too pissed off for it to even be worth debating. Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy wasting half your day on colorblind, unaccountable stylists who overcharge you. Pics are of the correct blue color (from just after I had it dyed early January), the color they said theyd use, the mixing bowl containing what I pointed out was purple not blue, the purple-not-blue mix applied to my head, and the result, which is (to my complete lack of surprise) purple, not blue. Note: I will update this review upon my visit to get it "fixed" tomorrow. Edit: I went back the next day for the follow up appt. After trying a couple hours to get the purple out with zero lifter, I gave up and said to make it look good while purple. The staff was apologetic, which was nice, but I was disappointed with the color being wrong and having to waste several hours of another day on this--practically my entire weekend was spent on this. I asked for a refund for the coloring only (since the cut was fine) and was told it had to get approval from the owner and that they would contact me. The next day I was called and offered... 50% of my coloring costs back via mailed check. I took it just to wash my hands of this mess, but ultimately I paid over $100 and spent 8 hours for a good cut with bad coloring that will take weeks to be ready to bleach and redye. Bumping review up to 2 stars solely because the staff was nice about it, everything else about the ordeal was disasterous.

BRANDON BAILEY is hands down the best hairdresser I ever had!!!! I wasnt even really due for a haircut but I have been feeling kinda bleh lately and I made an excuse just to come visit him and get a light trim just so he could lift my happy spirits and make me feel fabulous again!!!! I have been to high and pricey stuffy salons around Kennesaw and have not gotten the same awesome experience as Toni and Guy Kennesaw!!! All the staff are very concerned about making your hair healthy while looking your very best! They respect each clients individual style and dont push any type of certain fad or trend. They really care about your hair want to make sure you are HAPPY - they are above and beyond each and every time! Brandon Bailey takes his time and makes sure every single strand is perfect while cutting my hair!! He is FUN, PROFRESSIONAL and TAKES PRIDE IN WHAT HE DOES!!! If your planning a wedding, birthday, hot date or a just fun girls night out I highly recommend you going to see Brandon bc he will give you that confident boost everyone needs!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Thank you T&G Kennesaw you guys rock!

I have been going to Toni & Guy at Town Center for almost two years now. I have super short hair and always see Alyssa (and if you have short stylish hair you know how difficult it is to find a good hairdresser). I recommend her to literally everyone. They are on the pricey side but the cut and style last longer than most cheap hair cuts. And I have also had color done here before with Alyssa and again, an excellent job and long lasting (if you follow instructions if you dont that is your own fault). I will keep coming back and sending more people who are looking for a new stylist.

I went to Toni & Guy for the first time today and holy hell, they rock so hard, everyone who needs a hair cut should go there. Alyssa was my stylist and she is an expert on short hair. I look delicious, seriously. I felt amazing. Also, I dont even like to socialize, but I felt at home right away there. Everyone is cool and laid back, and they dont try to upsell you a million products. They tell you what they think and leave it up to you, but in a good, no-pressure way. Im coming back for sure, and I love the place!

I usually grow my hair long so I can donate it to locks of love, and it scares me alittle to cut so much off and still have a great do. That was no problem for Josh! He was very nice and listened to all my requests, I even got excited to get the cut after the initial consultation. After the cut, Kat did some highlights that are very natural, I cant believe the outcome! Is this really me? :) Definately 5 stars. I think the people that work in this salon love their jobs and it shows.
